Government doubles the cigarette tax so people will quit. People quit. Now the budget has a hole and the same geniuses are holding hearings on where the money went.

Ukraine could have been rich. Instead corruption ate the nation alive for decades, leaving poverty and an open door for the Kremlin.
Nobody deserves an invasion, and Ukraine is the victim here.
Still, a lesson for every country: corruption destroys dreams.

Opening a company takes a day and a form. Closing one takes a year, final filings, tax clearance and an accountant on retainer. The state makes it easy to start paying and very hard to stop.
Communism solved this. It never let you open one 😂

🇬🇧 HMRC now gives wealthy people a personal "Customer Compliance Manager". They want your assets, investments and overseas data "to support you."
Nobody maps your wealth this carefully unless they plan to take a cut.

Business insurance is the only product where the seller asks 40 questions before taking my money and 400 before giving any back.
I'm not buying protection. I'm prepaying for a very expensive argument later.

Kremlin elites keep their kids in London, their cash in Dubai and their villas in Italy. Then they go on state TV to warn that the West is dying.

Karen Bass is at 72% disapproval, so LA's fix is a Democratic Socialist 🤡

Brazil votes today: Lula vs Flávio Bolsonaro, and the polls call it a dead heat. Markets give Flávio about 82%. Lula's offer is more state, more spending and more of what Venezuela tried first. Good luck, Brazil 🇧🇷

Payday at my company goes in order: the tax office, the bank fees, the software, the accountant, the contractors. Then whatever's left goes to the guy who took all the risk. Socialists call that guy the exploiter. 😂
