A bit of a vulnerable post by me but we need your help to get us through what has been a more difficult period than 2020.
It would be really appreciated if you could read and share in your networks too 💛

if you're starting a sentence with "ethics aside" then:
1. don't type the rest
2. turn off your device
3. never Log On again

Back in the day, Twitter used to be really good if I set up a thread to connect freelancers with clients. Let's see if Mastodon can do it.
Clients: if you're looking for freelancers/contractors, get in the comments
Freelancers/contractors: get in the comments
Everyone else: boosts appreciated.
The market is *dead* for freelancers and a big part of that (in my opinion) is fragmentation. Let's get that network effect *back*.

A massive thank you to everyone that’s read or shared The Index. This newsletter would be nothing without you and it'll go long past #100 https://piccalil.li/the-index/100/

just scrolling through the feed and there are so many of you that I miss seeing.
i find maintaining multiple "networks" so hard — especially when I see the same posts across them.
maybe i need to try harder and spend more time on here too with pals.
