Myrrh the Merrier (what a fun name) is the 25th and the last ink of this year's inkvent calendar. Shimmer and sheen were mixed into a dark, rather blueblack than teal ink.
It makes it usable for everyday writing but I believe that the first ink Celestial Skies would have been a better fit as signature ink for the Teal Edition.

Pineapple Spritz is the obligatory yellow/gold ink with added shimmer. A bit too pale as writing ink but nice for greeting cards and art, I think.

The 20th #inkvent ink is Ambience, a salmon colored ink between pink and orange with shimmer. It reminds me of Diamine Coral. It's a cheerful looking ink. Maybe not so useful for long texts but certainly for art and notes.

›Diamine Overcast‹ is a pale blue-grey standard ink. It wrote a bit weird in my journal, watery dry, but not so on the Crown Mill paper.🤷
I think this ink might depend on finding the right paper pen combination.

The base color is a bit darker than Diamine Tinsel from the Inkvent 2023.

While writing it was practically black.

So I need to catch up.
Day 12 had Bubbly, an shimmer ink that had a distinct greenish tint wet but dried to a pale brownish yellow. This sounds somehow bad but the ink is very readable. In the right light it looks champagner thank to the gold shimmer.
The ink writes dry.

Today's ink is Diamine Bittersweet, a fresh looking light green. At first I thought it looks like Mint Twist from the previous year w/o the shimmer but that ink's green is colder.
I could imagine Bittersweet as spring ink.

The fourth #Inkvent ink Smoky Tobacco captures the color of tobacco quite well and is also a scented ink. I found the scent more like tobacco perfume than cigars but it was not overpowering. Smell is my worst sense, so I'm neutral about this one.

Carousel is a pigment ink. I immediately noticed how the ink coated the nib and stuck to it. I later had to reach for a cloth to remove the ink from the barrel. This is quite different from the “normal” inks.
Carousel was pleasant to write with. It dries to a relatively light, bright red with a hint of pink. It then looks very even, flat.
The shade of the ink reminds me of Tinsel from Inkvent 2023. Its shade is a touch lighter and warmer than Tinsel.

Today I got 4 new inks. The pics are scans that I color corrected as well as I was able.
Robert Oster Signature Gentle Giant - a Papier & Stift Exclusive that reminded me at first glance of Herbin Terre de Feu. Same transparency but less red, more like Diamine Nutcracker in color tone but lighter/less opaque.
Colorverse Dark Energy - a reddish brown that is rather variable depending how much ink is on the paper.

I learned writing with a #fountainpen in the first grade in primary school. I was 7 years old.
While it was a time of many smears and inky fingers I learned right from the start to not press the nib too hard.
My sons started with pencils first and then switched to fountain pens in third grade. It took a long time until they eased up on the pressure and imho never gained a relaxed grip.

The Brunnen Premium (!) spiral bound student / collage notepads are my every day paper.
They don't bleed through. In comparison with Oxford Optic notepads they are less coated, thus show less shading end sheen. But the inks don't smear and l like how the paper feels under the hand.
