They are, and I'm thankful to the Lord that he brought me to them. I forgot to mention that I was also invited to a family where "some tensions are going on". For me it was almost impossible to start a conversation with the father of the family. Now I can and I hope I can help them now.

What a Christmas, I visited two services, one organised by the Indian community of my church #xrds, one in the church of my bonusmom( that's a better word than stepma, isn't it?) which will close in 2026. I served in two services of the South-African church in the Netherlands and three services in my own church. That makes a total of seven services.

Last Monday, during the Mondaynight prayers, we prayed for a friend of mine, who has cancer. Tuesday, I spoke with him. That morning he got the results from the hospital, he was clean. So, who do we need to convince about the power of prayers?

@npub1q7t…5fee I see my answer disappeared. The members of the church organise it. On August 22th, we will have another community which organises it.

Yesterday, we had a communityday at the church. This time it was the Indonesian community which organised the day. #xrds #InternationalChurch #Amstelveen
