In principle, yes - but not every host in the Fediverse and/or user has it set up that way. That's why we're pointing this out.
That said, this very migration feature is still causing some problems right now... 😟

The Kernel Concept for TUXEDO OS Based on Debian Testing
In this blog post, we introduce the new kernel concept for TUXEDO OS based on Debian Testing. The challenge in developing and maintaining our own kernel is to provide a foundation that is as up to date as possible and tailored to TUXEDO hardware. Especially with brand-new hardware, the kernel provided by a stable Debian release is often not recent enough. For the new TUXEDO OS, we therefore use a current kernel and supplement it with TUXEDO-specific patches and configuration adjustments as part of the kernel build process. In addition to the current linux-tuxedo kernel, we will also offer linux-tuxedo-lts, a kernel with long-term support.

Hi, there will be no InfinityBook Pro 14 - Gen10 - INTEL, since the initial release of Gen 10 was already one year ago. We are working on Gen 11 now. Even though we can say that we will offer Panther Lake devices, it is not clear yet if Gen 11 will ship an Intel powered device. What we do know is that Panther Lake will debut in a desktop device. More info to follow as soon as it is finalized.

Hi,

Hi,
no worries, this is nothing alarming. These are routine updates for the UEFI Secure Boot Forbidden Signature Database (DBX), a blocklist in your firmware. When a signed bootloader is found to have a security vulnerability, its signature gets added to the DBX so it can no longer be executed, even from a USB stick.
The three updates cover bootloaders from IGEL, DT Research, and Howyar, none of which are used by TUXEDO OS, so there is no impact on your running system.
Just apply them via your software center or run:
sudo fwupdmgr update
Then reboot and you're done!
Let us know if you have further questions.
