Saturday morning #headlines recap
Hormuz went hot again. The IRGC claims two VLCCs were hit and abandoned, a spill from an attacked tanker shut UAE beaches, and Brent ran to $116-118.
Bessent announced that Gulf exports had passed pre-war levels. *lol fag*
Trump said both "no attack before the midterms" and "another little Epic Fury" is coming. *Moar like Epic Furry AMIRITE??!?* Trump also says the US will "take care of Cuba on our way back" from Iran.
Peter Thiel breaks with Trump: "We should not have done it". *More rats jumping ship.*
Though there are conflicting reports about exactly how widespread the evacuations are, Washington is indeed moving diplomats out of various Gulf posts.
Netanyahu says Israel is "ready for a large-scale operation in the West Bank" four days before the Israeli vote. *If Trump won’t start bombing Iran before Israeli elections then I guess Bibi will just start a war somewhere else.*
WaPo photojournalist Heidi Levine was beaten by West Bank settlers while covering the olive harvest and has multiple broken bones. *Well ain’t that a damn shame.*
Zelenskyyy says he is willing to give up 25% of Ukraine to Russia to end the war. *Lol as if he decides anything.*
Gold dropped below $4,000 for the first time since July, falling from $4,700 to $4,000 in the last two months. *I don’t usually report on metals but this seemed notable. Goldbros feel free to add your thoughts in the comments.*
France and Italy still suffering fuel shortages and riots.
Water testing in America shows the birth control drug Mifepristone is found throughout tap water supply in America.
Kim Jong Un alive and spotted in China. *I guess his sister’s coming reign of terror will have to wait a while longer…*
The Fifth Circuit allowed Mississippi's anti-DEI education law to take effect and ordered the case reassigned to a different judge, sharply criticizing AI-generated fabrications and serious legal errors in Judge Henry Wingate's rulings blocking the law. *A win for Mississippi, and yes, Wingate’s a nigger lol.*
Netanyahu: “If you think we will continue receiving tens of billions of dollars in American assistance for our defense budget, prepare yourselves and get used to the idea that it won't continue. Because America has changed, not Israel. It's over. It's over, and it will come to an end. It's only a matter of time.” *Hell yeah. May that day come very soon.*
***My plan is to relax with a nice beverage after my Saturday chores are done, I hope you can do the same frens…***

Sunday morning #headlines recap
Riyadh's airport fuel depot burns; Yemen claims strikes on eight Saudi cities. Houthi ballistic missiles and drones hit jet-fuel tanks at King Khalid International, suspending flights. *Here’s a repost of an explainer video in case you didn’t see it on my timeline last night…. youtu dot be/riC3a1m0f-E *
US escalation signals stack up in a single evening. Trump cut Camp David short and returned to the White House with no explanation; Netanyahu cut his US trip short; embassies in nine countries issued near-identical alerts. Meanwhile there was unusually heavy USAF tanker presence over the Gulf. As one observer noted: “Camp David cut short. Pizzas up. Gay bars down. It's over, boys. *Trump cannot and will not stop this was until the US economy lies in ruins. *
Pentagon confirms 28 February strike on an Iranian elementary school in Minab killed 123 children, blames it on “outdated intelligence.” Meanwhile the school was on Google Maps and had its own website.
Iran's seven conditions are sitting on Trump's desk, delivered via Qatar. *List unchanged from earlier, basically spells out total victory for Iran.*
Simplicius’ latest post covers the European governments’ call for their citizens to get ready for war. *Bloodlust, illicit financial gain, or distraction from the fact that all of those nations are going to hell in a handbasket? Probably a bit of all three…*
US diesel sets a 12th consecutive record high; Grassley calling on Trump to embargo diesel exports. *Grassley doesn’t want to maximize shareholder equity?*
EU governments are discussing a bloc-wide windfall tax on energy companies, with gas +24% y/y, diesel +38% and jet fuel over +100%. *Hey anon, sorry you’re getting raped over fuel prices while the oil companies make record profits, but at least we can put some more money in the government coffers.*
Freight is the tell. Shipping 2m barrels West Africa→China hit an all-time high $23.59/barrel, from ~$6.50 in July - a +258% move in two months.
Moscow's largest refinery is on fire. Kapotnya/MNPZ hit by Ukrainian drones. Reports confirm a damaged facility, no casualties. The plant supplies 35-40% of the capital's fuel market and has been struck repeatedly since June. In return Russia struck several oil-related and warehouse targets in and around Kiev while continuing to pound Odessa. As one analyst wryly put it: "Imagine what would have happened if on Monday Ukraine and Russia didn't agree with Trump to stop targeting each other's energy infrastructure."
The Greenland deal reportedly isn't NATO-bound, unlike its 1951 predecessor, after Trump announced permanent US control over security and "all other needs".

Saturday morning #headlines recap
Iran-US Strait of Hormuz clashes escalate again: US forces struck two Iran-flagged tankers (M/T Sea Star III and M/T Sevda) while Iran's IRGC Navy launched cruise missiles and drones at three US destroyers (USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta, USS Mason). Iran claims hits and damage; CENTCOM denies. Destroyers confirmed withdrawn to Arabian Sea.
Iran also attacked the UAE with ballistic missiles and drones overnight; smoke reported at Dubai Airport. Iran seized the tanker Ocean Koi (JIN LI) for "disrupting oil exports".
Massive oil spill detected off Iran's Kharg Island. Cause unclear, may be war-related damage.
Iran disputes CIA claims about missile inventory, saying it's at 120% of pre-war capacity, not 75%. *Both are possibly lying, but CIA is certainly the least credible source for any information.*
Trump: expects to hear back from Iran tonight, threatens "Project Freedom Plus" if Iran doesn't sign. *He’ll escalate to PROJECT FREEDOM PLATINUM next.*
3-day Russia-Ukraine ceasefire declared: Trump announced a ceasefire from May 9-11 for Russia's Victory Day. Ukraine promptly violated it with 1,365 recorded incidents including 887 drone strikes according to Russian MoD. *Trump-declared ceasefires are as fake and gay as it gets.*
Russia has repeatedly warned Ukraine about the consequences of any Victory Day attacks; to emphasize the point they produced footage from a recon drone filming the Ukrainian parliament.
S&P 500 hits all-time high while consumer sentiment hits all-time low. Just 5 stocks (GOOGL, NVDA, AMZN, AVGO, AAPL) account for ~50% of S&P 500 gains since April 1. Intel surged +12% after Apple chip-manufacturing deal. Lots of analysts drawing parallels to the final days of the dotcom boom. *Pam Bondi must be super-excited about the stock market numbers.*
Full-time jobs plunged 424K in April; part-time jobs jumped 123K. Full-time employment back to December 2024 levels. Payrolls at "record high" while actual household employment has tumbled 4 months in a row - zerohedge calls it "a disaster" beneath the surface. *Whatever good numbers get reported will be quietly adjusted down in future months.*
PBF Chalmette refinery in Louisiana exploded, adding to pattern of refinery incidents since war started. Refining margins at insane levels with refiners ignoring safety protocols to run at max capacity. *It’s all good though, the US is still selling its oil to other countries and an unprecedented rate.*
The Lebanese army smashed an Israeli spy ring and discovered damning evidence of Israeli involvement in 9/11. *No surprise to anyone here…*
Facebook ends end to end encryption, so all your DMs can now be read by the company, or any agency which presents them with a warrant, or infiltrates an agent as an employee. *They’re simply acknowledging that which was already true.*
*Editor’s note: rampant government fraud, immigrant fraud, UFO nonsense, Russia Russia Russia hoax, and voter fraud allegations all humming along at usual levels. Nothing specific worth reporting on, no arrests, no convictions.*
Joe Rogan says everything came down on Nixon because of his knowledge of who killed JFK, but conveniently left out the part where Nixon literally said “jews are all through the government and we have to get rid of them.”
Former lieutenant and special ops who was personal security for Netanyahu was just caught in a sting operation for grooming and trying to meet a 15 year old boy. *jewish family values.*
*Editor’s note: I’m happy for Britbros that Restore Britain fared well in elections, but I will keep my enthusiasm in check until I see the immigrants actually driven from the land. Same for Aussies and their vote to deport muzzies. One must be ever on the watch for Lucy and that damned football.*
