The PROLED (🤮) display seems to have all the expected specs for a high end OLED. The sub pixel layout is unusual, at least I haven’t seen any others with this style. It’s an interesting choice since standard RGB is the next “big thing” with desktop OLEDs.
I wonder if Apple re-added sub-pixel rendering to the OS or just don’t bother since the PPI is high enough to maybe not matter.

Today’s rumor is that the Apple OLED MBPs will be more expensive. Which of course they will be.
I’m actually curious to know if an OLED screen is actually more expensive to produce than the super high end LCDs that Apple uses.

I'd love an explanation on how this laptop “review" by LTT thought the appropriate Mac to compare to the top of the line Spark ($6k) was the base model 14" MBP ($2.5k).
Sad thing is, MBP still won in a bunch of places.

I spent all day with Claude doing tons of boiler plate code. This is stuff that's 95% brain dead simple parsing JSON with very well defined patterns. Basically all I was doing is telling it what I needed added, answering questions on the 5% stuff (nothing complex) and reviewing. Method by method, class by class.
I'm so damned mentally fried now. Feels just like if I had spent all day fighting with some multi-threading Apple framework bug and failing to fix it.

Playing with Fable today. Damn thing feels overly aggressive. I asked it to add a few types to an enum definition and it starts going all over the place trying to implement stuff. Pretty close to over 1/2 of the stuff I ask it to do I have to stop it and re-focus on a much smaller subset of changes. I hope it gets better or I'm going back to Opus.

Does Spotlight Clipboard history Sherlock Pastebot? Probably not, Pastebot is always going to have a ton more features + UI/UX customizability which is important with this type of app. Hopefully it'll introduce more people to what it's like to have persistent clipboard history around and then have them look for more powerful versions of that feature.
Still I say probably, since Apple will have it built in, free and keeps adding friction to non Apple apps.
