Developing Favilla Key // Nostr // BTC // Hardware signer

6) I've built a hardware signer. The Favilla KEY generates the key on the device, keeps it in a secure element, and serves its own client to your phone straight off the device, so there's no login step to plug Pomegranate into.
I do think it's the right answer for people who will never buy hardware, though. One question: is there a way to export the key later? Someone who starts on Pomegranate and later wants a hardware signer shouldn't have to give up their npub to move.

GM. Favilla KEY now speaks Marmot, the MLS protocol behind White Noise. Message sent from White Noise, lands in the Favilla KEY app as a forward-secret chat, reply goes back. Each message has its own disposable key so one leak never opens the lot. Nostr key lives in the isolated signing MCU, chats on the phone stay encrypted, and the only thing that can read them is a Favilla KEY that is unlocked and in reach. Confiscate the phone at the border and all you have confiscated is, noise.

Bumped into my neighbour at the pub tonight, got talking about Nostr. One key, yours, works in any app. He liked it, I could tell. Still pretty sure he walked off confused though. So the idea lands and the explaining doesn't. Anyone got a version of this a bloke at the pub actually walks away getting?
Also, 1:Gin 1:coffee liqueur 1: Campari + a little whisky 🥃👌
