Medicare is a national health insurance plan mostly for people over 65. (https://www.medicareresources.org/basic-medicare-information/brief-history-of-medicare/)
Medicaid is for low-income and disabled people. It's a lot more complicated because lots of people consider those categories to be personal failings rather than affilictions.
Medicare Advantage is a privatized shell around Medicare that makes it act like an Health Maintenance Organization. That lets them overrule the doctors on what care is needed.

Man, does Frontier Airlines website suck! And their "customer service!"
When creating a signon, they require "one special character" but "no '.' ',' '~'. It turns out that '+' is secretly forbidden, also. And I quit testing, but I suspect that 2 special characters may be rejected.
And it doesn't give an error message, the website just doesn't reply. And "Customer Service" says they can't help without knowing the error message.
That's 2 hours of my life wasted.

When I was a teenager, I learned to make decisions about my own behavior. Yes, I did things that my parents disapproved of. We kept talking, and got through it with growth for us all.
With my own son, my wife taught me that the important part was to maintain communication. That means listening as well as speaking. Forbidding behavior shuts down that communication.
