Of course the drywall anchors provided in this mirror mount kit are fucking tiny and stupid
So close to being like 90% on this job and then bam one of them pushes thru the drywall. Damnit
Gotta run to the hardware store. It's fiiiine

Me, as I'm opening the freezer to put a pie in it to cool down "I bet this glass dish is going to explode in here" *does it anyways* *suffers the consequences of my own actions*
Luckily I made an extra pie. That one is in a metal dish. I simply cannot and should not be trusted

@nprofile…2y44 I definitely make some noises when I am pushing hard, grunt a bit. We are both kinda monsters but it's ok because we are also big friendly fellas

Tadalafil definitely seems like a performance enhancing drug at the gym. I was able to bounce back between sets way quicker.

First poppy bloom, I counted and we should have like 18 of these. They are about as big as my hand. I love the Harrison yellow roses in the background too. But damn are they thorny!

Sad to inform you all after taking X-rays we discovered a big mass in our kitty's abdomen that was not really treatable at his age and we ended up deciding to put him to sleep today
I'm tired of grief and loss but I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore. He wasn't doing very well. I was really optimistic but things just weren't gonna go that way :(

@nprofile…5qdg @nprofile…ddkw yeah, we called a well drilling company and told them we had no water. They treated it (appropriately) as an emergency and had someone out that day to fix it.

Super fucking stressed about my cat not feeling well. he is about as old or maybe older than our other cat who died recently.
I'm giving him fluids and basically force feeding him blended food/water through a syringe..with any luck he keeps it down. Sigh 😔😔😔

There's a Ren faire here in Montana in June and I wanna go. Has anyone been to one before?
I'm looking at all of these things and lusting over the big long haired blond bearded Viking model and wanting to order some things
Can you go as a Viking to a Ren faire? Lol

@npub1se6…cmph can you give me some resources or just point me in the right direction for composting in climates where it gets cold 6 months out of the year?

@npub147c…27uk now that we own a home and have some room to grow stuff, we are planning on 6 decent sized raised beds for vegetables and berries, and a couple more for flowers and decorative stuff. My current garden/yard fetish is the idea of tearing up all our boring grass and planting a ton of Rockie mountain native wildflowers/plants for the local wildlife. I want bees. I want bat boxes. I love the idea of having garden tomato sauce all year, but having a thriving ecosystem sounds great too.
