I just replied to a post with a CW, and realized that I had to add the CW manually to my own post.
I wish there was a button to keep the CW of the post I'm replying to. IMHO that should be the standard.

@nprofile…mvm4 As a supporting member, I have 3 comments:
1. When I signed up, I wasn't fully aware about this distinction. I was under the impression that "active" meant getting actively involved in everyday activity of the e.V.
2. I looked through my account, but didn't find any indicator as to what kind of member I am.
3. I've read that a supporting membership can be changed to an active one, but no clear information about how to do so.

I also created this last week.
But aside from the fact that I'm not a cap kind of person, I wouldn't have the balls to wear it anyway 😅

Could someone please make a vector file of the goose from the "goose chasing guy" meme, but the goose is chasing the monopoly guy?
I'd love to foil print that on a shirt but I'm horrible at vector art

Schuhe genauso.

@nprofile…gfcd I mean, I'm 100% honest, I didn't recognize it. That's all I'm saying.
And if I didn't recognize it, while we Germans usually pride ourselves of our remembrance culture, I just can't bring myself to go "you have to have known".
But as I said, your position is absolutely valid. And you probably know more about him and the US military than I do.

@nprofile…gfcd tbh, I personally believe him about the tattoo. Why? Because I'm german, we had several years of history class about WW2, and even I didn't recognize it.
But that's just me.
Your opinion is totally valid.
I'll wait and see what he actually does. Now that he got elected, we can judge him by his votes and actions. I'm looking forward to it.

So yeah, dedicated keys would be nice. Especially since they *did* add extra keys for media control.

@nprofile…hr78 Jup.

@nprofile…qkvg @nprofile…g2t7 no, you don't get it. Health insurance is mandatory. Not having health insurance is a crime and can be prosecuted.
If you are employed, it's automatic. If you apply for unemployment benefits, it's also automatic.
If you are denied unemployment benefits, you are automatically breaking the law if you don't get insurance somehow. People are going to prison for that

2026-06-09 07:48:51 UTC

@nprofile…qkvg @nprofile…g2t7 that's mandatory here. 14.6% of my salary gets deducted automatically, almost 190€/month.
But I don't get any treatment, I have to pay that out of my own pocket.
German healthcare used to be world class, but it got enshittified beyond recognition in the last decade or so.
We don't even have a proper hospital anymore.

@nprofile…qkvg @nprofile…g2t7 It's so heartbreaking to me, because I remember a different time. Back in the 90s, even the early 2000s, we still had real doctors who care about helping people.
But they introduced laws under the title "evidence based medicine", that really meant doctors are only allowed to treat the most common issues with the most common methods, and aren't even allowed to deviate, or else the insurance companies can bill the doctor for any treatment not explicitly approved.

@nprofile…yzy8 The only antiandrogen I could get was Spironolactone, which caused me to have to pee multiple times a night.
I ditched that totally, and now I can finally sleep again.
My hope is to just saturate my brain with estrogen so it won't produce any requesting hormone. I forgot the name, was it FSH, TSH? I don't remember.
If I start to feel the T again, I'll look for a GnRH agonist, but I'm not sure if they are even available here.

@nprofile…yzy8 This part can happen in germany, too. A couple of years back, my endocrinologist died suddenly and I lost my HRT for so long that I got seriously messed up in the head, and almost lost my job over it.
Then new endocrinologist, put me on the minimal possible dose to just barely function, nothing more.
A couple of weeks ago I ditched him and now paying for it myself, and also dosing myself. I've never felt so alive before, ever.

@nprofile…nmr0 I would argue that "AI" is a fundamentally anti-human technology.
They stole literally every piece of text and audio and video on the internet that *people* created, without consent or compensation, and used it to create machine that replace humans.
And therefore, I do not have *any* respect for people promoting or using it. Not even the basic respect that every human deserves, because they are actively promoting the replacement of humans with machines.
They are enemies of mankind.
