The biggest issue bitcoin causes for people is that they don’t buy enough of it.

Pretty much going to nuke my account here, but I think Ross broke the law, knew he was breaking the law, and got busted breaking the law. What’s the difference between opening a shop and selling illegal substances in a mall versus creating a few webpages and selling illegal substances on the internet? It’s the same thing. Pick a better cause, and stop with the eco chamber nostr. This place needs some differences in opinion to be interesting.

Ephesians 6:10-17
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

What dunce uses these units? This is the bitcoin reward per watt. So, if you are paying for electricity in sats, which no one is right now hence why you think I am a dunce, then the break even cost for securing the network is going down. Or, the power company is getting a better return and able to build more infrastructure faster, return more profit to shareholders, etc.

Just read the Ledger Recover technical white paper, and it makes clear that the company just made their device irrelevant. What? Let me explain.
An attacker would have to steal your recovery key(s) from your Ledger Live (on your computer or phone), not easy but easier than getting anything off the hardware device. The attacker then spoofs a request from you (using the device or account ID, Ledger doesn't make it clear what it uses to authenticate the request), but this is not likely to be more difficult than getting the key(s). That's it. Your device is irrelevant. Wait, what happened?
Yes, all the TLS tunnels and splitting the keys into three parts are all security best practices but are completely irrelevant if someone just goes for the jewels. In other words, by subscribing to Ledger Recover, you are now relying on the security of the Ledger Live app, or whatever recover software Ledger implements. You have given up on the safety of your hardware chip(s). There is no difference in this and just having a software wallet.
So, if you plan on buying a Ledger device and then implementing Ledger Recover - I'm sorry, but you are an idiot. Maybe Ledger will stop making hardware devices and just become a SaaS? No matter how you slice it, the company is making a huge security compromise with this service. By converting to software controls, it increases attack surface and reduces the main controls/risk mitigation the company was founded on, which are hardware controls.

The 1M in 90 days narrative is not going to help adoption. I have worked in sales, and that is not how it’s done. People want something trustworthy and stable. (Great irony that BTC is trustless.) Let’s not waste this opportunity for education by ‘dunking’ on normies, pushing unrealistic expectations, and fearmongering.
Importantly, although bitcoin is showing signs of decoupling, if the bum-waste hits the fan there will not be a straight shot up for bitcoin even if wider adoption commences. Ask yourself why all major on-ramps in the US were shutdown right before the balance sheets of banks came to light? Signature Bank was not insolvent. It was a direct move against capital flight.

Correct. IMO it could be called the Lightning Internet because the topology reflects that of the Internet. Each node can function like a router, and some organizations have multiple connected routers. It is more granular to describe it as above, “many payment channels between distinct peers,” but that description is not entirely accurate, again IMO, unless you substitute ‘hosts’ for ‘peers.’

Yes you will see the routing fee. If you pay a 77 sat invoice and pay a 1 sat routing fee 78 sats will be deducted from your account. All routing fees are paid by the payment originator. Most a public node can earn on routing fees right now is around 1% many earn much less than that (0.01%) or simply route as a hobby. Try zapping someone with an address that is not WoS and you may see a fee.
