I'm so excited to be able to share the #eventSourcing pattern with a wider audience.
This was a great conversation. Thanks, @nprofile…ju99

I recently talked with @nprofile…4m5j about #eventSourcing, #dataStar, and other thoughts that have transformed how I write code today.

@nprofile…nvaq I'm thinking about proposing a talk with a somewhat similar direction for DjangoCon.
What insights we've lost along the way.

@nprofile…typy It may not be for you, but I've enjoyed the Obsidian Web Clipper.
It downloads the article as markdown to my machine into a dedicated folder that makes it easy for me to scan and delete the articles that I don't care about anymore.

It seems Microsoft's Microsoft Teams has changed the UI to remove the "Teams" tab.
I wonder what happened to the Microsoft "Microsoft Teams" Teams Team.

I just published my second blog post in the series about event sourcing, where I explain the benefits of the pattern that drew me in to it.

After about 20 years of programming like those around me, the way I write my applications has drastically changed in the last 12 months.
With so much change, I wanted things to settle and then share. So, here I go.
I have embraced #eventSourcing, and I want to show you why.

@nprofile…m624 Yeah. It still doesn't click for me.
I totally get it for mutable parameters, but not for immutable.

More developers should have that insight.

@npub1wfj…2ewz Excellent!
I figured it was an old pattern.
I haven't seen it on the teams I've been on, and I wanted to ensure this team sees it in action.

@npub1wfj…2ewz Thanks!
No… the article was at least several months old. It's probably years old.
I remember discussing it with a coworker either a year ago or more.

#Python web dev friends, I remember seeing an article where it shows using a middleware for authentication and allowing any rout to opt-out of that authentication.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
