He could make calls to action to his constituents. He could lead protests. He could organize a march on Washington. He could call for a general strike. He could apologize for and forsake all that AIPAC money he’s taken.
Thinking of things he could do besides writing a meaningless letter is not difficult.

A few years ago, I sat in a room with a bunch of other track inspectors for annual training. During a break, the instructor asked for a show of hands from everyone who felt they had found and repaired a track defect that had prevented a derailment.
All hands went up.
Then, he asked who felt that the cost of that derailment that never happened would pay for the wages of their entire career.
All hands went up.
What kind of idiot would want to get rid of those people?

Knowledge of all this Epstein stuff must be wielded correctly.
Using it to try to take down Chump is a fool’s errand. His supporters watched him attempt to to overthrow this government, and it didn’t matter one bit to them; do you really think this will matter?
Instead, use it against the supporters themselves. Make it about THEM. Are they *really* okay with supporting a pedophile? Rub it in their faces every chance you get, because it’s a lot harder to dismiss being pedophile-adjacent.

It’s past time to start ratcheting things the other way. In my opinion, we’ll know we’re there when it’s cool to shoot nazis again.

One party almost always enables incredible economic growth, while the other party crashes the economy every time they’re in office, unnecessarily bringing about widespread suffering and profound hardship that touches almost every person in the country.
Why would anyone vote for the latter? Are people seriously willing to lose their jobs, homes, and life savings if it means lgbtq and not-white people are unhappy? Really?

When the economy is tanking, railroads will put large blocks of train cars or locomotives “in storage”, parking full trains of the same type of cars in switch yards or back tracks. It often happens before the actual crash becomes evident to the public, a sort of “canary in a coal mine”.
On my territory, we haven’t seen a train go into storage in years… before now.
This week, we’ve put three trains into storage.

NASA’s Saturn V rocket from before I was born is beating SpaceX’s Starship by the metrics Elon promised Starship would excel. It could carry more, it was reliable, and it never experienced any “rapid disassemblies” or whatever he calls it.

As Allied forces approached and surrounded Berlin, Hitler committed suicide, and those who took his command tried to negotiate a surrender with British and U.S. forces, but they wanted to keep fighting the Russians. The Allies rejected this proposal. At last, the Germans agreed to an unconditional surrender. News of this was communicated to Supreme Allied Command in London, and General Eisenhower ordered Allied troops to stand down.

Update on that whole “let’s privatize space” thing:
If the timelines of the development of the Saturn V rocket and the development of SpaceX’s Starship were compared side-by-side from the same starting point, you’d notice that Saturn V had been developed, had successfully completed a dozen flights, took a bunch of guys safely to the moon, put a space station in orbit, and had been retired at the point where Starship had just experienced its 4th failed test flight without ever carrying people.

I’ve been told that if the railroads were to go on strike, some power plants would run out of coal in just a few days. Fuel distributors will run out of gasoline in a week. If there’s a general strike, and the railroaders get on board, we’ll be back in the Stone Age within a month.
As a railroader myself, I am DOWN with #generalstrike2028! #solidarity #labor #UnionStrong

I think traveling is essential to realizing where you really are morally and intellectually. When you go to places where you’re surrounded by people who aren’t Americans, you begin to understand what a bunch of assholes Americans truly are. #travel

I am certain we are reaching the end, rightfully and mercifully so.

The number of billionaires flying into Ma-ga-Lardo is truly disturbing. Spidey sense is pegged. 5 alarm fire. 🚨

if the last twenty five years have taught us anything, it’s that pointing out their hypocrisy has absolutely zero effect on the Right. None.

This right here is everything you need to know about our justice system, folks. Believing in it is on par with believing in unicorns or dragons. Anyone who puts any faith in this system is a fool.

if you’re trying to shame them by pointing out their glaring hypocrisy, they’ve demonstrated time and time again that they’re completely immune to that. #NothingMatters

I’ve eliminated all contact with news. I have no idea what’s happened outside of my field of vision since last week. I cut out all Trump people from my life after J6, so no work to be done there.
I don’t know that I am sane anymore.

I used to listen to the news on my drive to work. Now I listen to the metal station. #SelfImprovement #CopingMechanism #Music #Metal

Here’s a fun story on this election eve:
Some good friends of mine recently took a trip to South Africa. They are not touristy-types; they like to meet genuine locals and experience the real daily life in an area. They were talking to the people with whom they were staying, and the line from their host went something like this:
“South Africa has certainly had and continues to have its share of problems... but at least we don’t have to deal with Trump.”

I’d be satisfied with that, too... or pretty much any form of consequence at all. SOMETHING. @npub19zu…0jum
