I can use the name "host.containers.internal" from inside a #podman container to access a port on my host. However, this only works if the port is listening globally on the host.
How can I make it so that I can access 127.0.0.1:8080 on the host?
Use-Case: I want to listen to the prometheus-podman-exporter (on Host = 127.0.0.1:9882) from my Prometheus Container.
When the exporter listens on *9882 on the host, it works, but when it listens on 127.0.0.1:9882 on the host, it does not work.

Hello, my name is Nick.
I'm not completely new to the Fediverse, just have a new account.
I'm an IT administrator in the public sector and interested in #linux #foss #privacy and #smarthome
But I like to read any post that has to do with technology. Politics is not part of this account.
At home I run a small #homelab with #proxmox #homeassistant and #docker
Otherwise i am doing sports and enjoying nature.
