Think of this as a reintroduction post...
Hello again everyone! I'm Corynne (pronounced like Co-Rin), or Rynne for short if you want. It's the name I've chosen for myself going forward.
Don't worry, Voltanis isn't going anywhere. I've been using that handle for too long to get rid of it now.

Did some work on my gaming PC over the weekend and installed Bazzite. Been impressed with the performance so far. If I can get Epic and GOG games to work, I might ditch Windows on it altogether.

Since January I've been experiencing some things from one of my teammates. He sometimes deadnames me. NEVER uses the right pronouns. Never apologizes.
Then, I caught him trying to explain to someone away from our table what Trump "is trying to do for this country" and oh hell fucking no.
My plan to dress the most femme I ever have for our end of year meeting in April and let him watch his friend of over 15 years walk out on him as my unashamed true self.
Fucker.

You'll NEVER guess what happened to my car at work again this morning...
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

To our wonderful 2SLGBTQIA+ folks here and everywhere:
We've been here forever.
We will always be here.
No person, law, or government can or will ever change that.
I see your love of each other and yourselves everyday, and it brings me joy and hope for the future.

It has now been 3 years since I last had my hair cut. I figured back then I would at least try to grow it long and see how it would make me feel as I was just coming out as nonbinary.
I will NEVER go back to short hair. Having it long just feels right to me. Like it should always have been.

Forget January...
It's KNACK-UARY!
I'll be starting 2025 playing Knack and Knack II in support of Trans Lifeline! I've owned and yet never fully played these two games, so let's do this! Stop by the Arcade for fun and shenanigans and help out a great cause as well!

I was going to stream today, but for reasons that I will make clear later, I'm postponing any streaming to 2025.
Congratulations to Arcade dweller and professional lurker drwhat83 for winning the Arcade's annual level contest for the second year in a row!
Everyone's levels will reset to zero on January 1st!

I'm working on setting up a Discord server for the Arcade. Anyone have any tips, hints or things I should absolutely do before I send out invites?

One unforseen advantage to now having long hair is that the pompoms on my seasonal hats no longer bounce into my face when I walk. 😂

Two Announcements:
1) A small Twitch channel rebrand! It made sense to change the channel name to where it is, instead of who runs it. Should make it easier to find in searches as well.
New link: https://twitch.tv/voltsarcade
2) As of today, I am using They/She pronouns. I'm letting euphoria be my guide in how I continue to evolve in my gender journey, and it hasn't steered me wrong yet. :nonbinary_heart:

Happy retaill hell day
(Also holy shit am I getting huge gender euphoria from this)

If a game isn't for you, then it just isn't. No shame in that.
I also like watching others play those games. Even if it isn't for me, I do like seeing others experience something they like.

Today is the first time I will be wearing a skirt to work. I'm a little anxious but also excited!
I DARE someone to call me 'sir' today.

Young me never thought I'd get this far.
Queer me, however, is just getting started. 😊

I think I have been "ma'am"ed a record number of times this week.
That's not a complaint btw, keep 'em coming. ❤️

I only said "Don't call me 'sir'". I never said you couldn't call me "ma'am". ❤️

The Legend of Zelda: Dungeons of Infinity.
Anything else I do this weekend will be considered time not spent playing DoI.

Well, if any of you had an account on cohost, they have just announced that they are shutting down.
https://cohost.org/staff?page=0
'Read-Only' mode as of October 1st. Once they can no longer keep the servers up, they will delete all user data. So if you have anything worth keeping there, now would be a good time to retrieve it.
