The Japanese used camera market used to be good at giving descriptions of everything wrong with the camera, and how it's like:
[Almost MINT] [Exc +++] MINOR DUST PROBLEM SHOWS WEAR DOES NOT AFFECT IMAGE QUALITY

I saw someone joke that every hit indie game has about three days to make it's money before someone on Roblox copies it and makes 20x the amount of money, and it made me realize that Steam's biggest competitor is probably Roblox.

@npub1mq0…9t2u @npub1sr9…l2qw Something similar happened where I live. The mayor is a jeet, and we are a small enough town that we are on a co-op for utilities, which are incredibly cheap. The jeet decided to take us off the coop and start his own utility company (which would have higher prices) to "modernize" everything. Thankfully the locals got pissed enough for him to actually back off. Hopefully they boot him in the upcoming election.

Strange names of places I've visited (and that are not on the list):
Dinosaur - Colorado
Skellytown - Texas (a town occupied by skeletons) (and actually, Texas seems to have the most cities with horrible names)
Pie Town - New Mexico
Hideout - Utah
Yeehaw Junction - Florida
Hazard - Kentucky
Eureka - California
Tahlequah - Oklahoma
Fossil - Oregon
Forks - Washington

I wonder how Microsoft feels, watching thousands of people playing ports of Halo 1 that were built almost overnight, running on everything from a web browser to a potato, with 128 player co-op matches, just after they had to shutter the studio that made Halo after they released a DEI-core remake that didn't even have multiplayer.
