so it wasn't a memory leak in the end, but crawling + insufficient caching?
not sure what you mean about the second one, clicked the link and it loaded 20 posts relatively fast

hi! Do you have more information regarding the memory leak you are talking about?

I don't know about Misskey's possible incompatibility, but as far as Mastodon is concerned, with this poll, it has nothing to do with a protocol change, it's supported in Mastodon's backend, and it was supported in Mastodon's front-end until 4.4.0 where it was accidentally broken
it is still possible to vote using a third-party client
and I have identified the issue and submitted a fix for the Mastodon front-end: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/39949

after a quick look, it appears that nothing is wrong on Sharkey's end. This is simply a poll with no expiration date. Mastodon handles them, but it seems currently the web interface does not offer to vote in them.
If anything, this is a Mastodon bug.

pasting an URL of a quotable post should now attach a quote if there isn't already a quote, poll, or media attachment

ah, we made the choice to avoid wrapping when possible, but if the button were the same width regardless, it would look quite weird with shorter text

what do you mean it doesn't wrap properly?

that flow is unfortunately not supported at the moment

it is entirely possible; in the Web user interface, you will be able to do so by composing your reply and pressing the quote button on the post you want to quote: this won't dismiss your reply but instead attach the quote

ah, I see, thanks!
`BUNDLE_BUILD__CHARLOCK_HOLMES="--with-cxxflags=-std=c++17" bundle install` didn't help?

i'm confused, as `0.7.9` is already the version Mastodon of `charlock_holmes` Mastodon v4.3.6 uses
