God, and I thought that ESPN covered the NFL too much already.

I can't stand Inter Miami, but I'll be god damned if I'm not going to watch 38-year-old Leo Messi just dance through 8 dudes and score.

Is anyone on Mastodon checking out Collab FC?
It seems like a cool idea, but I'm not sure if it's just another Twitter copy/paster.

Rough day with our little guy today.
I like to think that my wife and I do our best to understand his sensory needs, to try and de-escalate tantrums from getting out of control, and to understand that it's even harder for him than it is for us.
But sometimes we still have to be parents. We still have to say no and sometimes we raise our voices. We still have to enforce a consequence. It's a lose-lose x 1000.
To my fellow parents of children with #autism: You're doing great. Keep going.

Anybody have a recommendation for a great "coffee table" book relating to soccer/football?
Just re-did our living room and I'd like a lush, wide-format book with plenty of amazing photos.
Recommendations & boosts welcomed.

I'm just grateful to be alive in an era with Derek Rae calling Bundesliga matches. He's the best.

It gets philosophical really quick when you start asking if you'd be happier chasing 8th place, regular European nights, and being totally satisfied — or — finishing agonizingly close to the title or a cup every year, and riddled with disappointment.

Massive respect to the Austin FC fans.

Curious what Spurs supporters think of Pochettino reportedly accepting the job as USA national team boss ahead of the World Cup.

When I first met my wife, she asked me when the football/soccer offseason was. I told her that I followed Liverpool, who play from August to May, and the New York Red Bulls of MLS, who play from March to December. So for me, the season never ends.
You should have seen the joy drain from her face…
