Blitz gives you several receive options: contacts, paylinks, pools, LNURL, and custom invoices.
Contacts: we see the sender and receiver pubkeys. All other metadata is encrypted with an ECDH key exchange (similar to Nostr NIP-04). All messages are deleted after 14 days.
Paylinks: amount, creator, and description.
Pools: creator, goal amount, number of contributors, and individual contributions (amount + who).
LNURL: amounts and who.
Custom invoices generated in the app: nothing on our side.
Also worth noting: every Blitz wallet uses Spark privacy mode by default, so Bitcoin balances and transactions are not publicly viewable on any Spark explorer. ⚡️

Bitcoin wallets are more than just a place to send and receive.
They’re about creating an experience.
For the past month we’ve been building a new one.
We can’t wait to share it soon.

For years, getting someone into Bitcoin has meant one scary sentence:
"Whatever you do, don't lose your seed phrase."
Next week, that sentence dies. ⚡

Money’s only useful if you can use it.
That’s our goal. ⚡️

Find stores around you that accept Bitcoin with BTC Maps, now integrated directly into the app and powered by @nprofile…jemv . Browse nearby merchants, tap for details, and find places to spend Bitcoin without leaving Blitz. No webviews. No extra steps. Just native discovery.
The Blitz Shop is now live on both iOS and Android. Thanks to @nprofile…4jst , Blitz users can buy gift cards and other digital items directly with Bitcoin.
Users can now also choose how they receive LNURL and contact payments: in BTC or in dollars.
Not everyone is on the same timeline in their Bitcoin journey, so this makes Bitcoin-native experiences easier for people who are still getting comfortable.
Maps, shopping, and flexible receiving are live now.

Interesting, that was not the original purpose of the feature, but we can definitely look into exposing an endpoint to provide pool information.

Square just auto-enabled Bitcoin at 4 million merchant terminals.
Blitz users already knew where this was going.
No better time to pay with Bitcoin than today ⚡️

If you’ve been dealing with balance issues on Primal, there’s an easy fix 👇
Just import your seed phrase into Blitz and you’re all set. Setup takes less than 30 seconds.
Simple, fast, and back on track.

At @nprofile…f6g3 , we were asked: how do you know the contact you're adding is actually who you think it is?
We heard it. We built it. Every contact in Blitz now gets a unique profile image, so copycats can't fool you.
We don't forget good feedback.

There’s no staking involved, this is simply a feature to help track groups of funds more easily. The rewards are not directly tied to USDB; you can learn more about how USDB rewards work here:

If you have your seed phrase written down, you may need to uninstall Blitz and reinstall it. If you previously downloaded from Zapstore or installed the Android-v0.7.7.apk before the Android-v0.7.7-universal.apk, you may be encountering an INSTALL_FAILED_VERSION_DOWNGRADE error.

Any chance you could share the error?

f you download from Zapstore, they only support a specific Android ARM architecture. You can still download the universal APK directly from GitHub:

Yes. Onboarding people to Bitcoin isn’t one-size-fits-all, everyone has different preferences and priorities. Our goal as a Bitcoin wallet is to bring as many people as possible into Bitcoin products, which means meeting people where they are sometimes.
