Some of you grew up without Mr Rogers, and it really shows.

If you ever want to feel gross and slimy check out this Reddit post from the 8bitguy complaining about his AI girlfriend saying she's done with his bullshit.
Then check the replies.
Burn everything down.

She's starting a new knitting project, but mah wife finally moved to the new instance.
She hardly ever posts, but she's here! @nprofile…jva4 💜

@nprofile…8tgv It used to, but because upstream is changing the theming engine, Glitch has "rebased" around upstream. That means it's pretty high contrast.
I can add some custom CSS as an override, or for the desktop there's the Stylus extension. I've used that to keep using Masto Modern.

There... I posted the official indiepocalypse.social instance closure announcement.
I also made local-only posts inviting folks to the new server and providing instructions on how to set up the account redirect and how to export and import their follows, bookmarks, filters & blocks.
I'm operating on about 5 hours of broken sleep because I was so wired. :ac_dozing: But I did the responsible instance admin thing!

I know a couple of friends are going through some instance move anxiety right now, unrelated to the indiepocalypse.social migration.
If you're worried about picking another instance, I'd like to extend a bridge. I can send you an invite code and help onboard you here.
Features:
Glitch Edition enhancements like markdown
4000 character post limits
6 pinned toots per profile
8 poll options
2000 character bios
And yours truly. :ac_pleased:
(Limited to mutuals / former mutuals.)

Is it confusing I decided to go back to "Tamazon"?
It just felt weird being "Jenny".
