Hey @nprofile…425x to be eligible to redeem sats using your Yaki points, you need to have an active Yaki subscription first, then you can head to Subscription & usage > Usage to redeem sats codes.

Hey @nprofile…5903 we offer a very similar experience between the two platforms with very minor nuances between them, while they both have the same features, they work differently since the tech used is different.

Thanks for your opinion, but I just want to mention that our vibecoded UI has been using relatively the same font, layout, animation and icons (which is 80% similar to what we had before just now is cleaner), the only big change here is moving the sidebar to the top which make more room to focus on content rather than the bloating links which 90% of time your eye will ignore. Will see how to bring back the old sidebar as an option on future releases 🙏

2026-09-13 07:25:47 UTC

- reply

Hey @nprofile…zca4 what do you exactly find inconvenient in the new web app design? The new version is a content focused UI eliminating all distraction such as the side bar which is mainly the big change here, while the rest of the component gained a slightly uplift redesign for an appealing look, you can share your thoughts and we'd be happy to consider it, thanks.

The free trial is merely a period to test out our new features in both YakiHonne and YakiPro, by the end of it, you will once more revert to the free version as always.

I think you have it wrong, YakiHonne is free and will remain always free, our subscription models are for additional features, you’re not obliged to pay to keep using the free version.

Hey @npub1yrs…ja94, you got the second part wrong, the free trial is just a period to test out the new features and the pro version, once it’s done, you can either stay in the free tier which will always exist or upgrade to the Basic or Premium plan, you can check more on https://yakihonne.com/pricing
Regarding paying the subscription using points, that’s only if you are on a paid plan, the free version can use Yaki points only to pay for paid notes. Hope this helps.

Yes, paid notes are boosted posts rotated in the home feed, users in the free plan get to see them, others in the Basic plan see few, and the ones with the Premium plan see nothing.

Sorry to hear you’re having a hard time using our platform, which part of the app is not working for you? Are you using the web or the mobile app?
And I just want to clarify something, we’re not pushing anybody to pay for our new subscription, YakiHonne will remain free to use with all its known features and we’re working so hard to keep it updated and optimized, as the subscription remains a sign of support and appreciation from our users. If you have encountered any issues, you can just report to the team and we’ll try to fix and deliver it ASAP as we always do.

2026-08-23 07:29:13 UTC

I think the word ‘Basic’ is confusing a lot of people, the Basic plan is just an upgraded free version, you don’t need to pay to use the free version which includes everything you know about YakiHonne. We will change that word to express another meaning rather than Basic = Free lol

2026-08-23 05:19:42 UTC

- reply

You’ll continue using the free version of YakiHonne, but I think the naming of the Basic plan should be changed, we refer to Basic as the version with extra features from the free version, we’ll think of a different way to present this.
I’d like to also mention that the purpose of those 7 days is to let people try all the perks that they will get for the paid plans including the access to the YakiPro apps.

2026-08-23 04:14:40 UTC

- reply

Hey @npub17ve…cc5z I think you're still confused about the plans naming, Basic plan YakiHonne is the YakiHonne you know with all its features + new premium features and an access to pro.yakihonne.com, and the Pro plan is the Basic plan + more premium features and more AI usage
YakiHonne is free and will always be free, the subscription we have now is merely a support to our work and to cover the cost of running the platform, and to also provide a richer experience for people who needs more, so without the subscription you can still use every bit of the platform you used to before

2026-07-29 01:59:35 UTC

- reply

Hey @nprofile…jys9 we're not censoring anybody, the thread you mentioned has replies that are not complied with nostr specs (the events either have no root tag or mentioning the wrong one, it's caused by the client in which the other user is using), since on the web-app threads are displayed as a tree of replies, the logic is heavily relying on well formed events.
We'll try to have a solution for these exceptions, thanks for the feedback.

Can you share a link that didn’t work? Many URLs can’t be parsed due to permissions issues or lack of metadata as you mentioned, but most of them work in both web and mobile app, if you don’t see them in the editor, just switch to preview so they can be parsed.
