So, now I’m ON the plane, but just got told we have ANOTHER hour delay because Chicago weather.
And, a maintenance item. So, maybe we’ll get off the plane? Maybe we won’t?
Is it too late to just DRIVE to #DjangoCon? My car is here at the airport.

When I lived in Guangzhou, I ended up watching a lot of Japanese dramas. One thing I liked about them: they were ALL limited series.
"We have a story to tell. We're going to tell it in 8-12 episodes. And then it's done."
I wish we had more of that in the US.

Hey #Django friends! This question came up recently.
Are there any recommended 3rd party libraries if one wanted to build a light-weight data reporting tool for internally tracking various metrics? In Django.

I'm confused.
I work for a 9-person company, based in State A. 4/9 of us live in States B-D. Are we Magical Unicorns of Administrative Skill?
Also: what about small companies in the NYC, DMV, Kentuckiana, or other metro areas that cross 1 or more state lines. Where LOTS of people live in different states? Maybe they're just used to it?

But THIS? What the current President of my country is doing? This is not what I was trying to do.
I just wanted to invite them to DjangoCon US and PyCon US. Since Greenland is (according to the UN) physically part of the North American continent.

What do people use/like for making presentation slides in 2026?
I’m on a Mac, so Keynote is always an option, and it's what I've usually used.
However, I'm also curious about options to turn Markdown into slides.

I'm finishing my packing to head home from this year's #PyConUS. It’s always fantastic to see folks and learn new things and get new ideas for ways to contribute.
There’s always a bit of sadness and a "good tired" when leaving a long conference. I may need to re-read my own old blog post. And, I probably need to start blogging again.
See you next year PyCon US! And I hope to see others sooner! Maybe @npub1wcx…kjdc?
