@nprofile…gk20 Yeah, that’s very nice. I loved Three Houses, but playing through all the paths sequentially got me burned out and I didn’t end up completing Silver Snow and didn’t touch the DLC story. XP
I wonder hour exactly the post-time skip time travel mechanic will work, too. Like if it’s just for small things to get those characters, or if you can do more with the past world?

@nprofile…lagy most likely, unfortunately… The artists I’ve seen keep their accounts longer have an alternate name/icon/description on Ko-fi, use a URL shortening service for any and all links to the account (prevents tracking referrer headers), and only link to it privately through DMs or posts/submissions/journals/etc that can’t be seen while logged out.

2026-07-27 02:08:11 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…lagy Ko-fi moderates off-site behavior and will take your page down for being linked from other places where you’ve posted content that would break their rules. I believe they also keep track of referrer headers that link to user pages as well to keep track of that, too. Really shitty and creepy behavior on their part.

@nprofile…3khn Anything where genitals are exposed has to be censored on Pixiv, due to Japanese censorship laws. Things do slip under the radar like with any large site, but they’re very strict about it when it’s found/reported.

@nprofile…6p2q There was an issue about a year ago where the site had to be restored from a backup, but some of the media backups were corrupted, resulting in a lot of images a few months to a year prior to that being lost. You should be able to edit the posts in question to re-upload the images. Some people have also had luck with just editing and saving the posts fixing it as well.

@nprofile…zglw Posts being marked as sensitive is now the default setting as of a couple weeks ago, since it is required for all posts with sexual or violent content. The content warning field only needs to be filled out for realistic 3D or violent content.
You can change the default in settings, just make sure to set anything as sensitive that fits those criteria.

@nprofile…n7p2 @nprofile…mhw7 Yeah, unless the messaging system is truly end-to-end encrypted (as in, from one user’s device to the other user’s, not just from each user to the service) with no key escrowing, that’s always the case. More sites should point that out, since most people seem to not understand that.

2026-06-22 22:46:35 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…mhw7 The site has had private messages since it launched in 2018. Mastodon’s solution for PMs is through normal posts with scoped visibility. You can either go to the menu on their profile and choose “Privately Mention”, or just create a new post with visibility set to private and only tag the person/people you want to message. You can view private messages through the main menu > Private Mentions. :blobcat:

@nprofile…y6f2 This is 100% a human, because that’s how human organs are normally laid out, right?
Aside from that, there’s a ton of human art on the site (without non-human characters in it) from various artists, most of them drawn by artists that draw lots of furry and non-human characters, but still. The site’s rule enforcement makes little sense and seems to have a lot of bias from their staff. Plus they make a bunch of money out of exploiting artists’ work without their permission.

@nprofile…qc3z Your account may be limited currently. You can check if that’s the case by going to Preferences > Account and check the “Account status” area to see if any limitations are in place. If so, you can message satori/koi to request that be removed.

2026-06-09 16:11:27 UTC

- reply

@nprofile…qc3z If you check your email, you’ll likely have received a notification for why it was deleted. If I had to guess, the post was probably 3D and didn’t include the 3D hashtag as required in the rules. It looks like a lot of your 3D posts don’t have that, so you may want to go through and edit them to add that so they don’t get removed! :blobcat:

@nprofile…vmf0 What I’ve seen other artists do is they include a censored preview image as a fanbox post with a random string of numbers. That string of numbers is then used as a password on another site to access the full, uncensored versions. If you do that, just make sure not to mention what the string is or include any links to where to unlock it, and you probably don’t want to link to it from somewhere public. Followers-only posts here might work, or in a chat group for subscribers or similar.

@nprofile…6mf7 There isn’t an algorithm in Mastodon that determines post visibility. When you post, it goes straight to your followers’ timelines as well as the local/global feed (unless you’re posting as unlisted).
Timing has a lot of influence on how much attention a post gets. Posting when a majority of people on the site are online gives your posts a better shot, as does properly tagging them with applicable characters, kinks, etc., since tags are the only way to find posts by searching.

@nprofile…ps7c You may need to look at adjusting the color profile in the software you’re using. There may be an option when exporting and/or writhing the project file’s options. Something like sRGB should be pretty compatible. You should get results more like you’re expecting that way. I used to struggle with that a lot until my partner showed me that. :blobcat:

@nprofile…gk20 Actually, bit of a correction on this — Stoat’s official server is based in the UK and therefore has pretty big restrictions, but it looks like anyone can host their own server (not “server” in his Discord weirdly refers to chat groups, but like an actual server), so rules would vary based on if you’re joining a separate server. :blobcat:

@nprofile…gk20 I’ve seen people posting about having issues with Stoat. They’re based in the UK, so they’re pretty restricted in terms of what art you can share.
Seems like people aren’t paying attention though and are flocking there just like they do to Bluesky from Twitter periodically despite it not being a good choice.

@nprofile…mwtn For images that were lost after the restore, some people have had luck editing those posts, then just saving. It might be worth a shot if you don’t have another copy.

@nprofile…cynk To have the tags go below the image, you should just need to put two line breaks after the last text in your post and have ONLY tags on that line separated by spaces. You can also do it after posting by editing your post. :blobcat:

@nprofile…gk20 Yeah, their stories pages are such a pain to read on there. I use my browser’s reader feature to read on Inkbunny, but something with how the pages are made doesn’t allow that to work some of the time, so I use the download link to view the story in the browser and use the reader there in those cases. :blobbroken:

@nprofile…xdjm It could be that it’s posted on another instance, which would still show up here. In that case, you can mute or block the user (or their whole instance) to keep from seeing it in the future.
If it’s actually posted on Baraag and doesn’t have the appropriate tags (or if they’re trying to pass it off as their art), you can report it and choose the “AI” rule as the reason.

@nprofile…68zz It’s unfortunately probably not going to happen, since requests for it on Mastodon’s GitHub are marked as “not planned”. As a workaround, you’re able to create a new account and migrate your follows and followers over to it.

I did a quick search and found a brand where the unsweetened version has no milk, and neither does the sweetened… but of course it has gelatin?? It looks like Whole Foods has a vegan version though, and you may have luck with other off/store brands, maybe?

@nprofile…52dw If you’re using a content manager (Like Wordpress, Drupal, etc.) to built it, those have built-in tools for handling comments and moderating them. Otherwise, if you’re building it from scratch in PHP, Python, or another scripting language, there are a lot of pre-built scripts for managing it.
If you’re using something more static or pre-made without access to server-side scripting, you’ll have to rely on an external service for that, which can be complicated, rules-wise…
