I am really looking forward to Django on the Med in September. Wonderful hosts, participants, and location.
I’m particularly excited to have @nprofile…5qc7 show us around Pescara, which has been on my must-visit list for far too long! 🏖️ https://chaos.social/@carlton/116441476480116559

@nprofile…zdz2 I got so tired of this behavior that I wrote an article about it just so I can link to it when people do this: https://justinmayer.com/posts/any-updates/

@nprofile…m624 @nprofile…sj72 Looking forward to hearing what you think once you've listened to it. I'd be happy to share my thoughts about how we're hosting the show.

@nprofile…m624 Troubling, yes — ergo the aforementioned empathy. But empathy is all it can be when it comes to this topic. One cannot legislate math away or come up with some clever workaround that addresses the fact that technology will be used to nefarious purpose. To even entertain otherwise is to deny reality, a practice that has become altogether too common and that I can digest no longer.
As I know you know, sabotaging encryption hurts the innocent and impedes not the wicked.

@nprofile…m624 @nprofile…g2vu If I may jump into your mentions unsolicited… In my albeit limited experience, Italy is a diverse nation and thus has different customary meal times, but I have found them to be earlier in the north and later in the south, a trend often seen in other parts of the world. In Trentino, average start time is probably between 6:30 ~ 7:30. Other parts of Italy could start 1+ hours later.
