the Israeli jews, having experienced the cruelties of fascism themselves, have learned and improved on Germany’s Nazi-ism South-African apartheid and their walls would even impress the most evil Soviets and Chinese regimes. Currently the Jew is single most #fascist race in the entire world and should be fought with everything the free world has. #antifa #antijew #surveillanceCapitalism #digitalsovereignty

well, there undoubtedly is some truth to any of this. And thanks for the 4 explanatory posts.
I can only imagine what would be the state and market penetration of GrapheneOS if there weren’t as much ‘mobile security os’ infighting. I really hope you and the GrapheneOS team can find a hardware partner that wants to ship your OS (even if they are a commercial company) again, you could do worse than fairphone and maybe have influence on their gen7 line?

so just because some company takes a certain partner (eOS is the one you are talking about I guess?) the whole company sucks? I have seldomly seen such a seemingly squeaky clean company (ownership & funding) myself according to https://canvasbusinessmodel.com/blogs/owners/fairphone-who-owns

it feels totally wrong that in order to escape google you have to buy a google device first… looking forward to 2027. Maybe if GrapheneOS would collaborate with Fairphone something might happen?

that’s a great analogy but I think we need to differentiate between #capitalism and #ultracapitalism
The latter is the cancer you are talking about where companies *need to* have VC funding, *need to* have 40%+ annual growth and *need to* voraciously eat every competitor (and customers, like amazon!) and give nothing back (ie zero tax).
I think a moderate form of capitalism is possible and even needed if enough regulations are in place and monopolies are thwarted when apparent.

nice! Two questions for ya: is it quantum safe AND can I use my self-hosted Nextcloud Talk instance (would be great to call with people on the same Nextcloud instance within deltachat, and create a public ‘room’ automatically for external outgoing calls ising my own stun/turn infrastructure)
