Kenney hit the infamous "two billionaires with one post" achievement, remains very rare, also shows once again that money does not equal intelligence, capability, or insight: Kenney is obviously right.

"Programming is hard", writes the company behind Unreal Engine, where coders for decades maintained foundational pieces of engineering underpinning the games industry, admitting that layoffs & sloprot left them unable to code basically an advanced student project

It's "the direct and indirect consequences of not getting screwed by rich people's brazen attempts to extract value from every single thing on Earth"

Incredible how a specific brand of smart people can be this dumb sometimes. You don't hate social commentary - you hate social commentary that doesn't conform to your own, and you're normative enough that you don't have to worry about reminding people you are human.

Subnautica devs v. Krafton ruling is ABSOLUTELY stunning. Start at the top of page 32 and read until the end of that section on page 37.
Krafton CEO was warned by their legal personnel to not follow ChatGPT into what is likely Some Of The Dumbest Legal Shit Ever, CEO believed the plagiarism bot.

Okay so let me get this straight, a oligarch country that elected a suspected pedophile & known rapist over his Christian values, and an illegally nuclear genocidal apartheid nation that keeps electing war criminals to do war crimes, those are the good guys because they bombed a primary girls school

Fucking incredible dystopian shit, comparing super rich people risking millions if not billions of lives just to make more money to people that risked their life actually building incredible things that would then make millions of dollars for super rich people.

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

Ludum Dare really is one of the more common pathways early indie game devs follow in this industry - a free, forgiving, community-focused event that also spotlights incredible work.
If you can, support Mike to help ensure LD can run in 2025 too. We shouldn't lose this.

For those of you who were having issues with [dopresskit.com](https://dopresskit.com ), I have resolved those errors. Also, is there someone around with some great front-end web dev experience that wants to help me upgrade presskit() to be a bit more 2024. I am way too busy to take on a bonus project.

I cannot emphasize how much early playtests will benefit your project. Not six months in, six weeks in. Before your vertical slice. Even if you would dismiss the feedback, it'll still have forced you to develop your early features horizontally, & it'll force you to really think about communication.
