I seem to be repeating a slightly disturbing event. I'll be doing something, usually physical and then something will happen and I'll think to myself, "It's a real bind being 50."
And then I'll remember that I'm actually 60.

We log our repairs on https://www.repairmonitor.org . That's the official #repaircafe log. It's not a great data entry tool but the stats are nice to have. There is an alternative tool at The Restart Project. https://restarters.net/.
If you search for Carbon Calculator, there are a few other tools out there to help.

Last Saturday was our first #RepairCafe in our new time slot. I was a little concerned that we might not get any custom, but 33 items through the door was a nice number. Not to hectic but enough to keep us busy until about 20mins before the end of the session. Managed to tidy up and leave on time. Result.

#repaircafe today. 2025 seems to have been a real change for us. We averaged about 25 items per session last year but we did 37 last month and 46 today. We made the decision to extend the length of the session today by an hour and we're opening twice a month too. Let's see how March goes...

So, turns out that CBs come with an app preinstalled that looks like Google Calendar but isn't Google Calendar. Same icon and same name. My guess is that it's a branched old version. It doesn't have the ability to connect to non-Google accounts. But if you install the real Google Calendar, then Davx works just fine.

Interesting. I (like everyone else I guess) don't fully understand how it decides what to draw and the steps it goes through. Be really interesting to learn. I'll add it to the last of 5 billion other things I don't understand. 😔
