Cal's new thing is demanding someone hold her face like a hamburger while she naps.
Where is she learning this.

If trans women are overrepresented in technology, why is there no Girl Inside / Estradiol version of the Intel Inside / Pentium logo?
Seems suspicious.

What about this cat? Have you met her? She demands to be petted.

I like when people design dragons based on birds or cats and give them beaks and cute kitty paws and wings and fur and feathers and kitty tails.
I think those are my favorite dragon designs. People should draw and write more dragons like that. Absolutely the best dragons, no question.

The fact that gryphons are so strongly associated with both vanity and pride when they're flappy cats is part of what I love about them as a species.
Plus, most epic fantasy protagonists don't cough up hairballs or randomly soak up puddles or bite each others' tails... to those story's detriment.

As a kid, you're just like: "Ah yes, the three genders, brother, sister, and gryphon." As an adult, I'm like... "Wait, the mom's brother-in-law was a gryphon?"

The first gryphon book I ever read was actually Frankie! by Wilanne Schneider Belden. (That and The Laughing Dragon are the two I remember from being a little girl.)
The protagonist is hoping for a sister, her brother is hoping for a little brother, and their new sibling is... a gryphon!
