PSA: If you are experiencing intermittent network failures on Fedora with kernel 6.16.3 you should rollback to previous kernel.

2. Last i read it is only on snapdragon x and some new gen Ryzen AI cpus as it needs a dedicated NPU. With how things are going with Intel who knows if they have it. But if the computer is brand or i guess 1-2 years max it might be worth to double check settings etc.
But my understanding is it can be uninstalled so worth trying that also.
And there is a option to disable it via group policies (regedit.msc) under admin templates/windows components.
Also diagnostics collection/sending can be disabled in the same way.
Unsure if these really disable everything like the descriptions say but might be worth to just minimize the traffic.

Oh absolutely! These things make tech fun again!
The camera grip on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra alone almost made me pre-order.. Never did and still regret it 😆

What I like to refer as the dark side of the fediverse shows its ugly head once again.
A article well worth reading by @npub10y8…6et3
I appreciate and thank you @npub1zdf…6u9l for your continued efforts 🫶👏

Set your post language accordingly so the translation functionality that many instances and apps use can do their thing

Real-time chat like Matrix et al. is a major detriment to Linux because it contributes to technical knowledge and solutions getting lost in noise and becoming hard to find.
One thing to have a off-topic channel for general chit-chat but support? Absolutely not. A forum is the place for that.
Then again looking at Reddit where it is clear most don't use the search at all before posting i do not know if a proper forum would be the solution either.

Oh Holy Night how Vivaldi Browser can be annoying and cause me a great deal of frustration
Latest ones to add to the pile is it keeps crashing extensions on desktop and web panels being logged out at random and on iOS scrolling sproadically becomes extremely choppy and speed dials re-adding themselves

With regards to ease of use (besides fantastic privacy) @npub1rkw…5q62 is great. Even more so after they (finally) rolled out usernames.
One thing holding them back that comes to mind seems to be that they don't offer backup of messages. At least that is one complaint I keep seeing mentioned
