Opening new wallets on my LNBits instance is now open again. The site is also available under a new domain. -> swiss-bitcoin.org
(The old domain swiss-enigma.ch will continue to work)

2024-04-28 19:21:19 UTC

Due to a lack of information from Lnbits about what exactly happened during the hack, I temporarily deactivated the creation of new wallets. If anyone wants to open a wallet at swiss-enigma.ch, please contact me directly. Existing accounts are not affected.

I am in the process of recreating my Lightning Node. After last week's disaster, I was able to restore all the important information from my backup. Unfortunately I had to force close all channels. In order to provide my services again, I now need inbound liquidity on my new LN Node again. I would be glad about every channel. Connection details: 👇

Shut up and take my note

Unfortunately I could not restore my node with current Channel.db. Therefore I had to start a force closing to be on the safe side. If you have a channel with me, please force close it. I will open the channels again the next days. LNBits DB and BTCPayserver could be saved.

Yes, you are right. You have to rebuild your online reputation. I can already see a use case, especially with Github, it makes perfect sense there. The problem is simply usability. With a hardware wallet connected to your nostr account, it's difficult to make a quick shitpost on your mobile phone at the train station for example 🤣
