UK internet censorship is getting absolutely insane.
The UKs laws are going to be a problem for the indieweb as a whole. I imagine a lot of sites and services are going to have to entirely ban UK IP addresses.
This started a few months ago but it keeps getting worse.

I am too old and wisened to the ways of the net to be fooled by the flavor-of-the-week youtuber/twitch streamer drama.
They fooled me with this stuff ages ago, but I'm wise now. I know you guys get paid for hits and engagement and drama drums up hits and engagement. All of this stuff is so obviously manufactured.

2026-10-28 05:25:04 UTC

They are saying substack brings the heat

Ok so I'm just finding out about substack which seems to be basically just twitter but for people who a functional frontal lobe

Lowkey Runescape is crazy because theres lots of games with dungeon synth inspo but the bulk of the runescape OST is like first wave dungeon synth just by chance

I got to use an iPhone Duo today

2026-10-25 16:57:39 UTC

If you are unfortunate enough to own a Samsung TV get ready for a massive fucking lawsuit

2026-10-25 16:51:51 UTC

Samsung TVs record everything you say around the TV and everything you view on the TV, send it back to Samsung HQ
Lowkey thats insane. There should be criminal charges??

2026-10-25 06:41:26 UTC

I will probably ditch the seasonal theme and day and night cycle thing on my website next year.
It's super cool, but Archive dot org hates it and any time I want to add something to my homepage I have to update 7 CSS files

2026-10-25 06:21:33 UTC

It’s amazing that they decompiled the Samsung smart tv OS and the thing is a literal wiretap.

2026-10-24 19:09:58 UTC

I got 7k words out this week but today Oshy is struggling to write the first few lines of the next chapter! Nooooooo

2026-10-24 17:33:52 UTC

I need to rewrite the photos page entirely the css is fucking abysmal

2026-10-24 17:32:18 UTC

Ok I just had to change a ton of stuff to make it work but now the photos page renders very well on the iPhone Duo when it's unfolded

2026-10-24 16:50:15 UTC

Ok now that it's out I did some black magic to check how my website renders on iPhone Duo and everything works exactly like I designed it to before I knew the actual numbers 2 use, but the photo page will never work because the preview size I chose is too large... Should I have image previews scale smaller just for this... probably not?

2026-10-24 16:46:46 UTC

I only listened to one track but so far this is sick as fuck

Whats really wild is modern games come out with all the FSR/DLSS/BBQ stuff required and as a result they look significantly worse than the stuff we had on Xbox One 10 years ago

2026-10-18 16:59:29 UTC

There is no universe where a next gen console that costs 1500$ and ALSO requires a 20$ a months subscription is going to succeeded.
They've still failed to show us a single game that actually benefited from the Series X / PS5 horse power
Basically we need to just go back to making games for the Xbox 360

2026-10-18 05:24:26 UTC

I put out some new CSS for my blog, I think it's more responsive now and should render better on iPad mini.
I'm taking a lot of consideration to the iPad mini because I figure that'll make the experience better on iPhone duo!
I, of course, need an iPhone duo for web dev testing, so please feel free to send me one 😇
