What MacOS app do people use to view storage space on their device? My M4 Mac Mini doesn't have a lot of storage since I got the base model, but I'd love to find an app that breaks it all down for me so I know where my space is being used.

$47 USD for a damn T-Shirt? You have got to be shitting me!
There is no way in hell this is worth $47. Then a hoodie is $82!
I seriously hope people are NOT paying these gouged prices.
As much as I love Mastodon, these items should NOT be priced this outrageously high!

@nprofile…6jyx You are very welcome and thank you for all you did to make this happen. Especially when I know you weren't feeling well. That's just incredible customer service at its best!
My wife has them prominently displayed right under her middle monitor and she's always "booping them" as she calls it. LOL

2026-06-23 00:07:33 UTC

I received the most awesome package today from the amazing @nprofile…6jyx
She posted the burger fidgets 2 - 3 weeks ago and my wife just happened to see them and instantly said, THOSE, I NEED THOSE!
I immediately reached out to Britt about this and Britt was so happy to hear that my wife really liked them. Her and I talked and she worked with me on a sale for the Cat and Capybara burger fidget toys! The two robots were freebies that she threw in just because she's a great human and does great business with her customers.
The are currently not available for purchase, but they will be soon from what I hear. So yes, I'm the first to show these off, and I have to say, TOP NOTCH products. And, they are SUPER AFFORDABLE!
If you're in the market for some cool custom made, personally made, 3D fidget toys, then please do not only me a favor, but do yourself a favor and check out Britt's Etsy store which I've linked to below, but you can also find in her profile.
I just want to say THANK YOU for not only working with me on this, but for working when you weren't feeling well to get these out the door and on the way to me. Then, she provided tracking information with full details and also reached out today as she kept on top of these to see that they were out for delivery today.
This is what running a small business is all about and exactly how everyone, big or small, should be running their company.
Last but not least, if you're just looking for a kind, genuine, awesome, amazing, down to Earth human who posts great stuff to the Fediverse, I highly encourage you to drop Britt a follow. You won't be disappointed.

@nprofile…6jyx Thank you Brit! That is so very kind of you! Let me know in DM how much they would cost for one cat and one capybara. I would definitely do a sale with you at the end of this week or next week if you don't mind.
If it's easier to wait until the listing goes up, I can certainly do that as well.

@nprofile…egn4 Sheesh! That sounds way too busy for me.
I'm good on the mowing, thanks though! I have a new self-propelled push mower I get to use for the first time this weekend. Luckily it's just for parts that the riding mower can't get to.

2026-05-30 11:44:26 UTC

It's my last work day of the week, then I'm off for 3-days. I am certainly ready to have three days off. I think the only thing I really need to do during that time is mow the yards. Shouldn't take too long and hopefully it won't be too hot.
What are your plans for the weekend ahead?

Good morning and happy Monday!
What’s on your agenda for the day?
For me, it’s a day of travel. Headed to Dallas first for a short layover then on to San Diego for a week.

2026-02-22 14:59:46 UTC

Good morning and happy Sunday!
How are we doing today? Anything special planned for the day?
For me, it's a day to relax and to make sure I have everything package and ready to go for my flight tomorrow morning at 9:10am EST. Heading to San Diego for an entire week.
First half of the week is work related, last half is vacation with the wife as she'll be flying in on Thursday.

2026-02-10 12:25:42 UTC

Good morning and happy Tuesday!
What's on the agenda today for each of you today?
For me, it's back to work after my two days off, but first, it's a dental appointment here in about an hour. Just a regular cleaning, so nothing major or anything like that. But I'll still be glad when it's done and over.

2026-02-08 14:00:55 UTC

Good morning and happy Sunday!
How are we all doing today and what's planned for likely the last day of your weekend?
For me, it's the first of two days off as these are my usual days off so it's just going to be a day to be lazy and to relax.

Anything fun, interesting or exciting on your agenda for the day today?
Nothing exciting for me that I know of other than just return back to work after 3 days off. We have a team meeting today, and those are always super fun and enjoyable. No other meetings that I'm aware of.

Good morning and happy Monday! How is everyone doing and how was your weekend?
Weekend here was nice and cold and also very snowy! We got nearly 6-inches of snow, which is the most in the 4 years that we've lived here.
No plans for today, as it's my 2nd of 3 days off this week. We get an extra day off since we didn't get extra time off during the holidays like most other employees.

Since I know I still have a LOT of people that follow me here on Mastodon because of my tenure at Nova Launcher, I thought now would be a good time to mention this.
Nova Launcher has been acquired, again, this time by the company https://InstaBridge.com and they have just made the first public post on the NovaLauncher.com website that you can see here:
https://novalauncher.com/nova-is-here-to-stay
I have a call setup for tomorrow at 3pm EST with the CEO of InstaBridge as they want to get some insight from me. I'm guessing on what the community is like, my experience with the community such as Discord and the support side of things.
It's going to be quite interesting to say the least and I'm anxious to see what questions they might have/ask and what their plans are going forward. Assuming they tell me anything different from what was shared on the blog post above.
I'll keep all of you updated as to what is discussed, at least the things I can discuss publicly.

Good morning and happy Thursday!
How are we all doing today and what's on your agenda for the day?
Nothing much other than work for me.
Yesterday was my 3-month anniversary at work and I found out I'm getting promoted to a Team Lead position in the coming 3 - 4 weeks. Crazy that it's happening this soon after starting there.
Sounds like I'll be getting a very good raise along the way as well which is always good.
I'm super excited for the future and can't wait to talk more about all the details as soon as everything is finalized.

2026-01-08 11:45:41 UTC

Good morning and happy Thursday! Tell me how you're feeling and what you've been up to lately.
I think we're finally starting to slow back down from the holiday rush at work. Ticket queue numbers are considerably lower today as they were yesterday. Maybe we're getting back to a sense of normalcy after 3 weeks of absolute craziness and insaneness!

Love Without End, Amen by George Strait just started playing on my playlist. Great song from a great singer.
Hearing most any song from George Strait makes me miss my days in Houston, TX as it constantly makes me think of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I pretty much went every year for the 35+ years that I lived there and always had so much. Lots of great memories seeing lots of great artists, including the King of Country himself!

Turn Up The Radio just came on as I was making my post on Mastodon and what a great song. This is definitely something I'll be doing to help me get through yet another extremely busy work day at Skylight Calendar.

This is our busiest time of year at the new job, so we won't get to experience time off until after the first of the year, likely not until end of January or so. But they are going to make up for it then which is nice.

Work/Life update for Cliff Wade...
Over the past week or so, I've been mentioning, "More details coming soon..." at various times. So many people are wondering what's going on, so as of today, yesterday really, I can finally give the full details.
As many of you know, and for those that don't know, I spent nearly 9 years working for Kevin Barry, the founder/creator/developer of Nova Launcher. We even went through an acquisition where Branch acquired Nova. Two years later I was laid off from Branch with about 120+ others.
Now that Kevin is no longer at Branch, which means he no longer has anything to do with Nova in any way, because of contracts and such. Him leaving Branch is public knowledge. What's not been public knowledge if and where he went to work. While I'm not specifically here to tell you where he went to work, my news provides that information.
As of last night, I accepted an offer with Skylight Calendar. You can find their site here: https://myskylight.com/ and I will be starting on October 20th. I will of course being customer support for their Concierge Team.
Kevin is truly enjoying it so far, but that's for him to tell his stories how he wants and when he wants.
When Kevin told me he had left Branch that day and had already accepted a job at Skylight, I immediately started investigating, and found that they had a position open I could do. I applied, went through four interviews, a written project and then an in-person meeting, which is why I was in Minneapolis, MN the last three days. They flew me out to have that in-person interview, which sealed the deal and I was given an offer shortly afterwards.
My start date is October 20th and I'm super excited to be back in the tech industry again where I truly feel I belong and should have been all along. I'm anxious to be working with Kevin, in a pretty direct way yet not so much in a lot of ways. He's developing things, I'm doing customer support. I know, sounds familiar and similar, but there's more to it than that which I'll likely expand on a bit more once I get a couple of weeks or of work under my belt.
I'm beyond thrilled to be working with him again as I know great things will happen.
I'm looking forward to my upcoming journey with Skylight and I hope to share so many amazing things about their product with all of you here via this Discord server at random times!

Good morning and happy Friday everyone!
Tell me how you're feeling today and what plans you might have for the day today.
For me, it's just the usual work stuff. We have three people on the team out today, so it could be a bit busy for us because of that. I'm hoping that's not the case since it's a Friday after a holiday, but who knows really.

2025-06-19 11:30:45 UTC

Good morning and happy Thursday!
How are we doing today and what plans do you have for the day?
For me, it's a day off from work as we're closed for the holiday.
The wife and I are going to head to Wet N Wild waterpark for the first time this season since we once again have season passes.
Hoping the rain holds off until at least later this afternoon/evening.

Good morning and happy Wednesday!
What's on your schedule for the day today?
For me, it's work stuff, with at least one meeting. It's also the day before a holiday, so I'm hoping for a quiet day that goes by as quickly as possible.

🎵 Cliff's Song of the Day 🎵

"Forever Young" by Rod Stewart
Listen on Apple Music (https://music.apple.com/us/album/forever-young/295535918?i=295535948)
What song would you dedicate to your younger self?
Today we're going to use the daily prompt as this is a good one and an easy one for me to choose a song for. Forever Young by Rod Stewart is my song of choice today. This was also my high school graduating class theme song in 1989, which is when the song came out.
Just an overall great song that has a pretty powerful meaning about trying your best to stay young in life and enjoy it to the fullest.
[Verse 1]
May the good Lord be with you
Down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
Surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud
Dignified and true
And do unto others
As you'd have done to you
[Chorus]
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart, you'll always stay
Forever young, forever young
Forever young, forever young

Good! This is how it should have been from the beginning. These companies should know that customers want to speak to humans, not automation. That's been proven for decades now. These CEO's are proving to not be as smart as they appear and it often makes you wonder how they got the position/role they are in currently.
AI is good for a few things, but I'd say 75% - 80% of what AI is being used for should NOT be the case at all. We truly need to stop embracing AI for anything and everything.

@nprofile…0unl Thank you. Olive Garden was really good, but so was just getting out and having a good date with the wife. It had been a while since she had been gone for two weeks out of town for family graduations.

It's the weekend, so it's time to rest, relax and enjoy the time away from work for a couple of days.
Yesterday wasn't as bad as it could have been, thankfully.
Today I'll be having a date day with the wife. We're going to grab some lunch at Olive Garden and then head over to the mall to look around and do some shopping. Not sure what else we might do after that.

It's so funny, yet so sad, that when you make a poll here on the Fediverse, and it gains any kind of popularity, that a few folks will comment and say things such as, "Why are you wanting this information", or "Why are you collecting this information", or even "What do you plan to do with this data" or anything similar.
Let me explain something here. My polls are simply just for fun, so please, for the love of all cats, don't comment that stuff on my polls. I'm not collecting data or information or using the answers in any way at all.
If you are THAT paranoid, maybe you should just keep scrolling and don't interact with what you saw or read.
It truly gets on my nerves that people can be so shallow minded as to think a simple poll by a regular human is just instantly used for doing something bad in life.
Think and do positive things. It's what we need in this world, and your negativity of thinking that a poll is so harmful is mind blowing.
It's seriously easier to ignore it and keep going about your day than it is to take the effort to make such a crazy, silly, absurd comment.
Please keep that stuff to yourself, or on your side of the Fediverse, as I don't want to see it and won't tolerate it. Sorry(not at all) if that offends you in any way.

"How You Remind Me" by Nickelback
Listen on Apple Music (https://music.apple.com/us/album/how-you-remind-me/214475427?i=214475478)
Today's song is a song that just got done playing from my playlist, and one that most people won't like, or at least not the band. The song and I'm referring to here is How You Remind Me by Nickelback.
I've personally never understood the hate or dislike towards Nickelback. To me, they are an amazing band with awesome music. Chad Kroeger is yet another artist who has a very distinct voice, and that's something I've always like when it comes to singers.
So the question here is, do you like Nickelback or are you one of the ones that dislike them like so many others?
[Verse 1]
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
Tired of livin' like a blind man
I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling
And this is how you remind me
[Pre-Chorus]
This is how you remind me of what I really am
This is how you remind me of what I really am
[Chorus]
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waitin' on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
And I've been wrong, I've been down
Been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream, "Are we havin' fun yet?"\
