It's so funny, yet so sad, that when you make a poll here on the Fediverse, and it gains any kind of popularity, that a few folks will comment and say things such as, "Why are you wanting this information", or "Why are you collecting this information", or even "What do you plan to do with this data" or anything similar.
Let me explain something here. My polls are simply just for fun, so please, for the love of all cats, don't comment that stuff on my polls. I'm not collecting data or information or using the answers in any way at all.
If you are THAT paranoid, maybe you should just keep scrolling and don't interact with what you saw or read.
It truly gets on my nerves that people can be so shallow minded as to think a simple poll by a regular human is just instantly used for doing something bad in life.
Think and do positive things. It's what we need in this world, and your negativity of thinking that a poll is so harmful is mind blowing.
It's seriously easier to ignore it and keep going about your day than it is to take the effort to make such a crazy, silly, absurd comment.
Please keep that stuff to yourself, or on your side of the Fediverse, as I don't want to see it and won't tolerate it. Sorry(not at all) if that offends you in any way.
