how many genocides has Putin executed? what has he ever done that has empowered the working class and improved material conditions for all?
what is the difference between who you say is rational and who is not, here?

no. this matters. this is a continuation of 533 years of fascism. refusing to acknowledge it means refusing to acknowledge how it happened at all. fascism doesn't exist without project 1492.

@nprofile…args pressed type is an entire trade with its own set of specialised skills, and maybe making it easier for everyone to do means a loss of those skills, but at the same time, freedom of the press belongs to those who own one. a Heidelberg Windmill press will cost a lot of money and require permanent space. an inkjet doesn't.
printing reams of nonsense has been a thing since the printing press was invented. it's almost like automation produces mostly junk. :thinking_rat:

@nprofile…5fn0 it's the exact same rhetoric used by Blue MAGA.
the idea that Trump is unique plays to his goals. what has he done that other fascists have not? what has he done that other fascists would not do?
"he's a big asshole" does not make him unqiue. that's not a measurement of "more fascister". providing the weapons to murder more than 40,000 Palestinians is not enough asshole for you?
why is it important to you for there to be a difference between members of the ruling class?

2025-01-06 21:53:13 UTC

@nprofile…5fn0 it says that Donald Trump is somehow unique to fascism, which he is not, and the person preceding him is by no means better than him.

canada's white supremacy isn't criticised enough at all.
white canadians love to find ways that John A. MacDonald's genocidal white suprmacist government was "imported" from USA, like these attitudes were not already present in these people well before they had the power to do what they did.
white canadians are too chickenshit to criticise the fascism of their own nation state, and will always defer it being USA's fault.
if this post upsets you, that's a you problem.

that thing you're calling communism wasn't, and never was. do you also believe that Hitler was a socialist, or that North Korea is a democratic republic? do words mean anything?
this "evolutionary" thing you're on sounds like Bolshevik nonsense. people are not obsessed with hierarchy. we live in an exploitive hierarchal system where the most powerful people benefit from the white supremacist idea that we just can't move beyond it because then nobody would work for wages.

Mao was not a communist. nothing Mao did resulted in the abolition of the state nor money.
Mao was a Stalinist, and Stalin was a fascist. nothing the Bolsheviks did was ever going to build communism in Russia either. in fact, they crushed early attempts to do so, and betrayed the anarchists who had fought to end Tsardom with imprisonment, exile, or death. Kropotkin lived in exile until his death. Makho was called a bandit and blamed for anti-Semitic pogroms which Lenin had supported.

planes don't tend to stop suddenly unless they hit the ground, and don't have a lot of other reasons why they would be suddenly stopped. they also don't have other planes directly behind them, in tow. if you suddenly stop a train going 1000km/h, there are going to be no people left inside, just goo in a metal sandwich.

Churchill had the blood of a million Indians on his hands.

the electoral cult seems to really believe that selecting and marking names of people to potentially form the next government is "sending a message". even if you wrote in a 700 page thesis as your "message", it still won't be heard, cause that's not how elections work.

if you're not a practising, licensed psychiatrist, you're committing medical fraud every time you armchair diagnose someone with a psychiatric condition who isn't yourself. and even if you do have credentials, you're committing medical fraud by diagnosing people who aren't your patients and have given you no consent to do so, while stigmatising people with legit diagnoses. that's why it's ableist.
