@nprofile…3ftj From the old pureos to 11. Having previously manually installed Waydroid from the CI Debian package.
I wish to upgrade pureos without losing my android user data.
I guess as long as I make a backup I can just uninstall the old packages and place the user data back in the right location after installing Waydroid from the repository.

@nprofile…3ftj For the android user data
Specially cause the snippet I referenced suggests to delete it in the installation step.
It suggest to run:
`sudo rm -rf /usr/share/waydroid-extra /var/lib/waydroid ~/.local/share/waydroid ~/.local/share/applications/waydroid.*.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/Waydroid.desktop
`

@nprofile…3ftj Does it support Waydroid?
It seems so because if I look at the snippet it seems starting Pureos11 Waydroid will be in APT!

What a time to be alive! great work.
Now I was wondering, is there a migration guide for my Android data?

This is the #HP #16702a logic analyzer restoration thread. It covers cleaning up pcbs against corrosive glue, replacing the harddrive and cleaning the device and case alltogether (ita extremely sticky)
A more cohesive story will eventually land on https://museum.dantalion.nl
Special thanks to @nprofile…apnq and @nprofile…ahev for the inspiration over the years!

@nprofile…rz2w @nprofile…zyt0 @nprofile…mjzm @nprofile…snss I micro my crappy dishwasher and washer daily because eclectricity is substantially cheaper starting 23:00 and its honestly a pita to stay awake till 23:00 everyday I have to turn one of these on.
I sure wish they had Bluetooth or somecrap but I agree I rather have nothing then cloud somethibg compared to local.

@nprofile…3ftj This is a super shameless plug but i've written a blog on using the Librem5 as a daily driver:

Hope it helps you!

The museum has very graciously received a #Philips PM6620 counter, one of the very few Philips instruments to use #nixie tubes.
As well as a #HP 182T display with 8558B spectrum analyzer and a HP5304A counter.
Should you have user, service manuals or schematics for any of these they'd be greatly appreciated! Especially the PM6620 seems very difficult to find.
The HP8558B needs repairs specifically its RBW does not work very well, if you know common faults / repairs let me know.

@nprofile…cnxx is increasingly becoming a major source of grievance.
I have one install where it outright ignores all the email rules, just never runs them automatically.
Another where search doesn't work but pretends it does, just never having any result.
And another where a thread goes into an infinite loop and drains my entire battery in 1 hour.
3 installs all fundamentally broken and even in different ways..

switching to the #librem5 was one of the most liberating decisions this year. Even with all the little earlier adopter issues and inconveinces. I have developed a lot of tricks, workarounds and solutions. Wonder if I should write a blog post about them..
