Culpability resides in the individuals responsible as well as a growing passion in hating a collective of individuals in society. Whether that be left hating right or right hating left. Calling out the death of one individual as the responsibility of a collective of many isn’t reality in the slightest.

I don’t believe I’m doing magical thinking, I just try to stay true to what is right in my mind. And pinpointing the death of one on the collective of another when that exact mindset fuels nothing but more hate and rage doesn’t seem right to me.

This type of thinking only increases the divide, imo.

I just deactivated my twitter and am back on Nostr full time, I found myself being irritated more often than I’d like after excessive use of that app.
Looking forward to engaging on here again.

I would not want to be short #bitcoin today.
That’s all, have a great day

2024-07-09 13:29:22 UTC

Alright, #asknostr.
I’ve watched dozens of YouTube videos and tried plenty different methods but still cannot perfect it - how do I cook a perfect fried egg?
I’ve used nonstick and stainless feel pans and played with warming the pan before yet still struggle half the time.
My biggest issues are smoking oil and the egg still sticking to my pan. I prefer to avoid butter if I can thanks to some gallbladder issues but ultimately just want a tried and true method for not getting frustrated with an egg sticking to my pan.
So stainless steel? Nonstick? Medium heat, low heat or high heat?

Chapter 18 in Lyn’s book, Broken Money, just had me thinking of listening to this song and pondering how damn blessed I am to be a #bitcoiner this early.
The current financial system is nothing but “Turtles All the Way Down” and it’s just not fucking right. We’re going to win.

I’m just over halfway but I really like this a lot, it’s a little more detailed around the fiat money printing side of things so far, it’s very interesting. Both are really great

Good morning and HW!
#bitcoin price action is really something. I’m still leaning bullish but would feel a lot more comfortable above $61.5k. I certainly was wrong in thinking last Friday’s action was a local bottom! More cheap sats on the DCA I suppose.

I should say below last week's low * for me - Then I need to reevaluate how we end up this year, which would just mean more cheap sats for longer

and she's gone - #bitcoin, the run has begun

2024-06-29 01:45:24 UTC

I think it’s time to start making sure multi- sig setups are in place, lightning nodes are running well, keys are safe, etc.
Think we’re about to see some bonkers #bitcoin price action soon. Maybe not like this weekend but we’re not far off. Just stick to the DCA plan

2024-06-29 01:02:23 UTC

Pry the last time to buy sub 60 bitcoin this cycle in my opinion. It lasted for about 2-3 min I think

Sure enough, full node count bounced back to almost 18k. Routing activity back to reality (barely anything). Address counts all tick down but for some reason #lookintobitcoin appears to have stopped updating since last Thursday. Hopefully it's just temporary and the numbers will be back next week.
Hashrate bounces big time and price/hashrate heads down again.
Have a great week all, touch some grass. 🌳

Full nodes count bounced back up which is nice to see. LN capacity dipped below the psychological level of 5,000 BTC for the first time since 10/1/23 after that big spike up from ~4,700. We topped out at about $5,400 at the end of Nov. and have just drifted down since. Not sure this metric makes a ton of difference at the current stages - More important that we're using the capital more and more in addition to growing capacity. Still interesting to note big swings in the network 'size' - Price has an impact on this though as well obviously. Less BTC required as fiat value increases as much as it has since Oct.
Addresses all tick up, good to see. I'm VERY curious in watching these numbers in the coming months after spot ETF approval. I still don't like it but that's neither here nor there. I'm a free market guy at the end of the day.
Lastly, we can all laugh at my routing node activity again. It sure isn't easy to run a node and not lose money but I still do it, not sure why.
Cheers on getting back to the short work week for some, finish it out strong! Oh, and the #runningbitcoinchallenge kicks off tomorrow so I will be getting my runs in over the next week!

Yes. Outside of adopting some sort of Bitcoin standard there really isn’t another choice at this point in my view
