anything that might endanger their place in power will become a crime.
Crime is whatever they say is a crime.

as i'm from Argentina all this feels alien to my mind.
Yet when talking to a friend of my dad he told me something that reminded me of this current time from back when Argentina was in total chaos during last militar dictatorship:
He was 18 with his friend doing forced military service. They had to drive some supplies from a warehouse to another military facility. In the truck, his friend driving and two other trucks with some other conscripts and 1 officer made the convoy.
Suddenly as they were going down their usual path they got shot at from a side building.
The convoys stopped. He leaves the truck and follows his officer to "shot back at the windows", some minutes later 5 man surrender and they try to assist their injured.
His friend that was driving died on the first volley against the convoy. 18 yo, killed by leftist militias.
The officer rounded up the 5 attackers and executed them all against the wall.
my dad's friend told me that his friend died for nothing, but the militias believed that they had killed an "enemy", yet at the end all 6 just died for nothing.
I didn't know what to say to him after the story, but this times reminded me of this story.
Don't let anyone try to take advantage on chaos to use this to match "you against them" as they did to us (Argeninta) during the 70s.
Only meaningless dead awaits at the other side.
Above all else, protect your family, what ever you consider protecting them might mean or require. All other things are just worthless in comparison to your family, but some really fucked up people might try to use this to impose their goals branded as "security"

Oh wait it's actually the "Land of the Free [Slaves]"
well who could have predicted this D:
now with the joke done.
This seems bad, really really bad.
under that broad term downloading any non US base custodial wallet becomes a crime
- "A series of independent transactions"
so if you manage UTXOs you are a criminal
- "Single use address" as in every single wallet ever made with half a brain

kinda unexpected to see an Argentine meme starting to take root in US circles (reddit, twitter, nostr)
Each time someone killed another person to rob them a group of people both in person with the media and online called to "kill them all"
this was later memized into a simple "Bala" (shout them) or the more simple image of a bullet, magazine or someone reloading a handgun.

It's not about explaining bitcoin, but about Why something like bitcoin is needed. In my experience it's better to rise a person curiosity than to give them an answer. If there'are curious they will seek it themselves

I need to share this before it becomes illegal or dangerous to do so.
Sorry if it looks like spam it's about Argentina and political persecution that has just started a few hours ago against various journalists:
I need to share this somewhere and I know some of you heard about Milei. Each time i defended him, but this has been way pass the limit.
Argentina just now, Official statement by the President's Spokeperson:
"The National Intelligence Law expressly prohibits any person or organization do political espionage or attempt to manipulate public opinion through clandestine operations. Thus, this lawsuit requests urgent precautionary measures to prevent the publication of new leaks and preserve the transparency of the electoral process."
By this Milei had demanded the immediate censor of a list of journalist and the disclosure of their sources after am audio recording of sister has been made public by them under treat of prison for crimes against the State.
His sister was recorded by an unknown person, asume to be part of Milei government as the recording was done inside the Presidential House.
Argentina has fallen and the freedom of press in under attack.

Liberalism just died in Argentina
Javier Milei tried to jail two journalist after they shared an audio recording of his sister (who also holds a public office so she's been recorded while working not her private life)
Using the excuse of "Spying" against "The State" President Javier Milei decrees all sharing of audio recordings involving his sister as "Illegal" under treat of prison.
Freedom dies in the name of "the greater good" and "protecting the government"
fuck politicians

yeah i was kinda expecting Milei to understand a BIT about bitcoin, not a lot btw, just A BIT.
it turns out he knows shit and has zero interest on learning about it and preferred to be scammed by some shitcoiners that whispered some sweet nothing to him
