NOSTR will be the Identity and Reputation layer for the next era of online gaming and matchmaking. Cross Generation of Platform and Play, Client side verification for data integrity, Mesh networks for privacy, sovereignty, and connectivity, NOSTR relays for ID, reputation, and "server" multi relay side acknowledgement of Client side Data-Integrity for multiplayer games.

#OrangeClub story from tonight.
A gentlemen later on in the night ended up walking into the cigar lounge. (Not for my weekly event)
Long story short, and a hour of fragmented memory recollection.
I made a order of operations plan to maybe recover his Bitcoin from a hotmail account that no longer exists (Hotmail shut down?) linked to a previous kyc'd Coinbase account from 2015-2016.
Plebs helping Plebs
If recovery is successful I will point him to onramp or the bitcoin way get him multi institution multisig ASAP then begin discussing a personal multisig stack. The owner is outta his depth currently technically. I'll help where I can.
Kinda cool to randomly help someone. While not directly related to my OrangeClub event, this goes to show PoW pays off if your feeling let down by turnout year after year (I know I have) keep showing up to your own event.
Number of successful events 2 in 3.5 years. Keep on mission.

Sitting here watching Jason Statham play Jason Statham in the hit movie Mutiny Starring Jason Statham. I had a thought, what if deglobalization, not just financial but logistical, was inevitable due to cheap mass production drone warfare on the high seas over the coming decades as the technology inevitability reaches the hands of "bad actors" that would cause disproportionate economic damage. As the bad actors are asymmetric and more malleable in tactics, motivation, numbers and groups but the legal shipping companies are not, thus leading too collapse of the company.
Oh well, but look Jason Statham said a funny one liner in the final act and saved the day Hurray \o/ - currently half way through the movie at time of post.

This, and much worse is the inevitably of the centralized ICANN and Telco ISP hardware. We must build out mesh networks. I expect within 3-5 years, due to boomer mentality (non technical Millennials), after an 2nd or 3rd "AI attack" nations and localities that don't enforce centralized digital ID will simply be threatened with IP address range revocation and cave. They fear the Anon Dev.

This is the future of the "metaverse" for video games, not some NFT open world selling vaporware or a corporate walled garden. The ability for a group of individuals to host and Modify source files to create new expressions, multiplayer, and adventures. NOSTR and the wider Fediverse as the ID and payment backbone for your favorite unmodified (no ingame changes except back end code) or community approved modified games for multiplayer.
You can keep KYC Auto 6, Discord, and unfortunately in time Steam (sad day) and any other "real company now" store front.

This is getting really promising, even though it would require a ham license (government permission) this could be a way for willing members in the mesh to link parts of a region together, then using a service like tollgate supply abridge without internet for at least text communication as of now.

As far as what could be built, I think other than email, it's just gonna take the pain of using the normienet, over the next 10 years, getting so unbearable and ID leaks for normal people personally affecting them.
Plus the next generation of younger people to make NOSTR and the wider Fediverse "The Internet". Add in big tech blowups and more consolidation enshittification.
Email, Decentralized Steam store based on NOSTR web of trust and other gaming focused hubs, and plug and play/hot swap in client algorithms. Are what I'm looking at playing with dev wise.

The next psyop for open source software and teams that don't dox themselves. Is to have sites like VirusTotal and the companys flagging hashes just claim maliciousness on non compliant software. If a company (Security vendor analysis) doesn't want to go along with it they are removed from their approved VirusTotal lists shown as reputable.
Happens with Rotten Tomatos, MSM, GITHUB and I'm sure more.
"The ever present they" want Centralized Digital IDs at the per device level. "They want backdoor access". For safety, of course....

The pain of inaction must exceed the pain of action. We are in a marathon with NOSTR, it will take at least another decade of degrating the "normal ICANN internet" before we see this public key/private key, relay based internet be "the internet" NOSTR will be called the darkweb by Millennial parents, now in their 30s.
NOSTR is 1 peice of the wider Mesh Network that will develop, as TCP/IP becomes less free and surveiled at the Telco modem level.
Keep up the fight your streaming and attitude on NOSTR is valuable.

2026-08-10 02:49:49 UTC

Nah that's too far for me. We fought, we lost. Adjust and adapt arguments hardforking isn't the the way we all still align more than not. Build and decentralize mining with Bitaxe, don't shitcoin.

2026-08-09 23:48:24 UTC

Listen my little pleb node failed, we bip110ers got it wrong on game theory. Be what it be hardforking is insane and I never supported that. "You go to war with what you have and what works, not what you want." Even if the blade has dulled and chipped IMO, you don't get perfect.
Now that movement is turning into a scam. Still have 95% alignment with each other as far as I see it. I just still think that 5% might be our death nail if we don't get serious in the coming years. Victory through apathy isn't something to gloat about either. When has apathy lead to anything good?
Get back in consesus plebs. Repropose. Help Decentralize mining. Run and create new implementations of nodes. Build Freedom tech. Mesh networks.
