Samalla omaisuuden hallinta siirtyisi vanhukselta seuraavalle sukupolvelle ehkä vuosia liian aikaisin.

I would need a device to touch my smartphone at points I tell it to, since security reasons are making screen sharing increasingly cumbersome.

I can no longer sketch ideas on paper, so I use AI as a kind of verbal sketchpad. The original ideas are mine, but AI helps me give them shape, test their assumptions, expose gaps in the reasoning and try different ways of expressing them. I can challenge its responses, revise the argument and discard what does not work. AI does not replace my thinking. It gives me back part of the ability to develop an unfinished thought through experimentation—something I previously did with a pen and paper.

AI is making data analysis extremely cheap. It can identify patterns, test hypotheses and compare vast amounts of information at a fraction of the previous cost.
That is valuable—but it creates a risk.
Physical experiments generate genuinely new data about reality. They require equipment, materials, facilities, skilled people and time. As analysis becomes almost free, experiments may begin to look prohibitively expensive by comparison.
The danger is that we keep analysing the same limited pool of data more deeply, instead of investing in the experiments needed to expand it. AI may then produce increasingly sophisticated conclusions resting on increasingly inadequate evidence.
AI can suggest what might be true. Only measurements and experiments can tell us whether it actually is.
We should use cheap analysis to design better experiments—not as a reason to stop performing them.
