just turn off your camera and mic while you watch the game. You can always re-enter by audio if you need to.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your FIL. Hang in there and remember that your MIL being off her rocker is for others to deal with.

I never realized there was so much variation in wine's alcohol content. The range varies from almost 16% to just below 9%. 🤯

This is such good news for the cancer with the lowest survival rate. Too bad the pseudodocs in HHS and CDC don't believe in mRNA vaccines.

I've been a big Three Musketeers and Dumas fan since I was little. This is very cool!

It's very windy in Santa Fe this morning. Wouldn't want to be driving between here and ABQ today, for sure.

My neighbor's miniature poodle was spayed last week. I saw her walking her dog this week; it was the dog's first day outside in a week and she still wore a cone around her head to protect from licking the wound.
My first comment to her was, "I can tell your dog is a French poodle, because she is a Conehead." Thankfully my neighbor laughed.

Nice that FOTUS drained the swamp and immediately refilled it with even worse pond scum. How do people not recognize the evil that resides in this Administration?

Today is the last day of my dry January. I will continue with a dry February as I have a planned total left hip replacement on February 27. I am looking forward to having the surgery done and not requiring steroid injections every 3-4 months.
Happy last day of January to everyone!

Wow, I had a murder on my roof hoping around and pecking. I tossed a small pebble that struck the stucco parapet instead of making it all the way to the crows. The noise startled them and they flew off. I guess I should be glad the pebble didn't hit one of them. Yours is truly one crazy-scary story!

Being back in Denver after living in Santa Fe for over three years I realized two things: 1) the wind coming down off the Rockies is fiercer than in Santa Fe, albeit not as gritty and 2) I don't miss the Canadian geese and all of their skatá that is everywhere.

Yes, somewhat of a messed up headline given what's happening in the US.

That's a nice sampling of whiskies. Seems like a rye or a smooth, smokey Scotch from Islay would finish things up nicely.

I just woke up to see the announcement that troops are being sent to Portland. We are in Portland now. Yesterday we walked around the Pearl District, visited Pioneer Place, and enjoyed the peace and beauty of a NW autumn day. Below are a few photos I took. As you can see, it is not ravaged by violence. Yet another distraction.
