If the market rallies after every fake declaration from Trump are not proof that the market is irrational, and challenge your faith in efficient market hypothesis, then I am prepared to characterize you as a very foolish, painfully deluded person.

Ah, yes. Your superior intellect has better things to do than to explain to me all the perfectly obvious ways in which I'm wrong. Carry on, my cognitive superior.

Ah, yes, see... the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is now adopting Bitcoin! This is it guys! The world will now see the beauty and potential of Bitcoin! A murderous regime that massacred 35,000 protesters in the streets in January has been orange-pilled! (corrected)

See you stupid former friends who called me a neocon for supporting Ukraine. I’m opposing this illegal fascist war, while supporting Ukraine fighting fascists. I’m consistent. That’s how it works. It’s called not being a stupid coward. And have discernment.

I am looking for an expert on "Trump Derangement Syndrome" for a piece I'm working on. I wonder if any of my former moron friends who diagnosed me with it, could break down some of the features of the pathology, so that I may accurately describe it to my readers.

Look at what you accelerationist cretins have helped wrought upon the world. You will not build a bitcoin economy from the ashes. You will be forgotten.

There's no such thing as an objective measurement in macroeconomics. You're always measuring from some normative frame. In other words, relative to what you think *ought* to be true about the world.
There's no such thing as objective value. There's no such thing as objective measure of inflation (no, seriously).
Prices emerge from our preferences. Value emerges from our sentiments.
Sound money doesn't change this. Because the whole concept of sound money emerges from a normative foundations, on how money ought to work. Why should money retain its value across time and space? The only reason is because we all want it to! Not because that's objectively more efficient.

I mean, I very much dislike Elon and criticize him harshly. But Starlink actually works, contrary to your characterization of it as an "unworkable scam".

Come to realize one of the reasons people don't get DIDs, is they think they're just glorified pubkeys, or they're glorified decentralized Apple Wallets. This is just a wrong mental model.
The way to think about what DIDs and Verifiable Credentials from an engineering and application developer perspective, is to view them as a wholesale replacement for DNS and Certificate Authorities. They decentralize away from ICANN.
They are a new universal identity layer for the internet. But because they are open an extensible protocols, we can do everything from validate that website is legitimately owned by a company or individual. Or they can be used to model a driver's license, where a government agency issues the credential. The protocol doesn't care.
I think people who think they're "too complex" and add nothing that pubkeys don't, haven't thought too deeply about the totality of problem of identity on the internet, and are likely taking DNS (a highly centralized form of identity) for granted. When they probably shouldn't.
