I realize I’m likely on the losing side of the AI fight.
That doesn’t mean I’m on the _wrong_ side.

My boss has become an LLM proxy. A problem comes in -- a ticket, an internal report, whatever -- and he copy-and-pastes it into whichever model he's using this week, and then copy-and-pastes the result into Slack. I don't think he reads any of it.

I wonder what New Yorkers consider to be the greatest city in the world? If only they’d tell us! Curse their demure reserve!

If a billionaire is a policy failure, a trillionaire is a civilizational one.
One person hoarding that much wealth in a world where people are in need — hungry, sick, homeless — is the end product of a society undergoing the complete collapse of human decency.
A trillionaire is an obscenity.

Hey, everybody! Welcome! Remember two years ago when we promised a bunch of features we never shipped, and a year ago when we blew up the UI for all your apps?
Wait ‘til you see what we be got planned this year!

The tickets are ridiculously expensive and security is going to be a hassle, but the chance to scream at Donald Trump where he’ll actually hear it is worth the price.
I understand there will be a basketball game going on, too.

2026-06-01 18:21:02 UTC

Is it a crime to induce system-wide economic collapse at the civilizational level?
The answer we came up with in 2008 was “No,” but I feel like maybe we should revisit that in the next couple of months.
We have to be able to charge them with _something_.

2026-05-25 23:28:42 UTC

Homicides in Los Angeles are at their lowest level since 1966, and all the big-name mayoral candidates are pushing for more cops. _More_ cops.
Because the LAPD is so famously trustworthy.
If these dumb motherfuckers spend more money on cops, I’m going to make sure they need it.

2026-05-13 15:12:15 UTC

What idiot called them “AI training data centers” and not “concentration camps”?
Oh, because “concentration camp” is already being used for immigration detention centers?
Kind of ruins the joke, man. Jesus.

The best part about everybody pretending Trump isn’t asleep during his Oval Office public appearances is that one day, he’ll die in one, and nobody will notice until it’s over.
