Good morning all you #birdstr lovers of the nostrverse. It appears there is an intense stare down between Mr. Mourning Dove and Mr. Starling currently at the bar while Ms. Bluejay looks away and Mrs. Starling is staying out of this one. Have a great Presidents Day. #gm #grownostr

Good morning from the breakfast bar of the feeder. #waltthecat is watching this beautiful House Finch real close from the window… or maybe he wishes for the Mourning Dove on top. #gm #birdstr

Good morning from the birdcamstr, the House Finches and Sparrows at the bird breakfast bar this so far. Mixed in a heavier amount of black oil sunflower seeds this morning so we will see if that draws in more woodpeckers and Cardinals. Have a great day #nostr #birdstr #grownostr

Good late morning frens and #birdstr fans. It’s supposed to be hot today, so I turned the cam to the bath and right away an American Robin took the bait. I alway smile watching robins play in the water. And for some of those herbalists out there, yes that is a huge comfrey plant next to the bath, the bumblebees are loving it, this is bocking 14 which I have for sale on my @npub1ry9…qy4m, otherwise I saw my friend @npub17wm…t5f4 has a great sale going on for his bocking 4 right now #grownostr #michigan #birds

Good morning #nostriches and #birdstrs, just listening to the birds this morning after filling the feeders and turning the camera. I love listening to the chirps and songs. Cow birds are one of the most ordinary looking birds we get. Males are two tones of brown and females are just brown, probably so they don’t attract attention when they lay their eggs in other birds nests. The call of the cow bird though reminds me of some 70s-80s sci-go sound effect, maybe R2-D2’s cousin. #birds #cowbird #michigan #grownostr

I’ve been asked what we do about squirrels at our feeder… well haven’t really seen many squirrels in town and especially on our street, but the neighborhood cat population #catstr #birdstr #grownostr

Boring day at the oriole feeder, and it’s mostly been mourning doves, cow birds, house sparrows, and grackle hitting the seed today… and then this male cardinal showed up #birdstr #birds #michigan #grownostr
