The n34 release v0.5 is now available (https://n34.dev).
> n34 is an open source command-line interface tool for sending and receiving Git issues, patches, pull requests and comments over the Nostr protocol. It supports creating, replying to, and managing issues, patches and pull requests, making Git collaboration decentralized and censorship-resistant.
Added:
- New command `repo state`
- Support for pull requests
- Logs now go to stderr and a file
- Accept patches from stdin in `n34 patch send`
- Write patches to stdout in `n34 patch fetch`
- `n34 repo announce` supports `u` tag for forks
- Enable Tor proxy for onion-service relays
- Send nip07 request after user opens proxy page
Breaking Change:
- `issue` command now requires subject, makes content optional
Fixes:
- Require `applied_commits` in `n34 patch apply`
Refactor:
- Removed `dbus` C dependency

Same. Also, we could derive an onion address from it, which would let us build an overlay P2P network somehow? Like, a client could run a relay as a hidden service, and we could exchange events P2P while falling back to the relays if needed. That would be awesome.

I like your art, YuurinBee. I knew you from your XmrBazaar banner, it's actually cool. Then I found you on Nostr and discovered Vector, it was new back then, but now everyone knows it.
Keep it up :monerochan_cheers:

I shared my Tor relay logs with an LLM and got its analysis back, very proud of my #Tor relay.
> Over the past 10 days, your relay has safely transferred **611.48 GB** of sensitive user data while handling **1.2 million total connections** from both IPv4 and IPv6 users. You have protected an average of **1,022 unique connections per hour**, consistently maintaining over **1,000 active privacy circuits** at any given time. Traffic shows a healthy balance of **48.5% uploads and 51.5% downloads**.
> The real-world impact is substantial: your daily average of **378 GB** in traffic has enabled the equivalent of **1,260 hours** of educational video streaming, **126,000** uncensored article downloads, and **12.6 million** secure message transmissions.
> Security remains flawless, with perfect forward secrecy on all v3 handshakes, **zero malicious circuits blocked**, and automatic prevention of **151,608** potential attacks. Technically, your relay demonstrates excellent dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 support, a healthy **18.4% growth** in daily traffic, and clean synchronization with **9,901** network descriptors.

Not the repos, but the patches and issues are nostr events. For repos there is GRASP, which use Nostr to check if the push authorized or not, instead of ssh keys in regular git server. So you create a single nostr event called Repository State Announcement, and push your repo to 5 GRASP server, they will not ask you for an account, they will just check that the repo state match the nostr one.

Cool using of binding in rust https://doc.rust-lang.org/rust-by-example/flow_control/match/binding.html
```rust
for manager in self.plugins_managers.as_ref() {
match manager.admit_event(event, addr).await {
reject @ WritePolicyResult::Reject { .. } => return reject,
_ => {}
}
}
```

Equality is not fairness.
How can it be fair that someone with a low income pays the same amount of VAT as someone with a high income? One person is afraid to spend their monthly income because of rising prices, while the other doesn't even bother to ask about the price before buying.
The first one doesn't drive much because of minor traffic violations like veering off course or slightly exceeding the speed limit. The second driver gets three speeding tickets on his way to the airport because he doesn't care. How is that fair?
Fuck the system!

> Smarter DM Delivery: messages now route to the recipient's preferred relays, for those with custom relay setups
I disagree with the phrase "for those with custom relay setups". Sending events to the recipient's relays should be the default for every Nostr client, as specified in NIP-65. Nostr's decentralization relies on not centralizing around shared relays.
Thank you for the app. 🫡

Today, I’m thrilled to introduce n34 (https://n34.dev), a command-line interface (CLI) for sending and receiving Git issues, patches, and comments via the Nostr protocol.
I hope you all like it, and I’m eager to hear your feedback!
A special thank you to:
- @nprofile…7hes for his awesome https://rust-nostr.org
- @nprofile…kt4z for his invaluable feedback, answers to my questions, and insightful conversations.
- @nprofile…3mtj for his constructive feedback.
- @nprofile…77zh for suggest the keyring
- @nprofile…vvze for encouraging me to bring this to life after I had initially shelved the idea. <3
Examples:
- For sending a patch: `n34 patch send ./patches/*.patch`
- Receiving one: `n34 patch fetch <patch-id>`
- List them: `n34 patch list`
Almost the same with issues. Check out the documentation

If you don't want to open source your shit, don't distribute it to others.
