Completing Dream Grad Academy’s first @npub17cy…4ml3 diploma cohort this month would not have been possible without the dedicated commitment of @nprofile…tq6l. The eight‑week curriculum was a true learning journey, not only for our students but for us as well.
If you’re unsure where to start with a grassroots Bitcoin educational effort for beginners, I highly recommend reading the article below!
I look forward to building on the lessons learned and connecting with others bringing bitcoin education to their communities.

My key takeaways similar to yours:
User-Centered Design in Academic Systems
"Academics from within the discipline should be included in the design process, so that the system fits their patterns of work, and conceptual categories, rather than being imposed based on some alien categorical scheme."
— James Boyle, "Mertonianism Unbound? Imagining Free, Decentralized Access to Most Cultural and Scientific Material"
This principle extends beyond academics. For MedSchlr to truly serve as a knowledge commons, we must involve a range of users—including the public and the Nostr community—in co-creating features that meet their needs for accessing, understanding, and engaging with health research.
Open Architecture as Innovation Engine
"Wherever possible, design the system to run with open content, on open protocols, to be potentially available to the largest possible number of users, and to accept the widest possible range of experimental modifications from users who can themselves determine the development of the technology. Then sit back and wait to see what emerges."
— James Boyle (citing Eric Von Hippel's work on user-based innovation)
This collaborative approach—combining open access with decentralized protocols—challenges us to question the centralized architecture of existing structures and guides our development philosophy for MedSchlr.

@nprofile…sfgr not sure if you have seen my article but might be of interest given its focus on health, bitcoin and Nostr.

Great, I appreciate your feedback once you get a chance to read it. Yes, there is anecdotal proof of people becoming more spiritual. For example, Dr Satoshi, a real physician talks about this on his YouTube channel among other related changes people experience once they start adopting bitcoin in their lives.
I agree that video proofs and documentaries are powerful tools to show the importance and truth about bitcoin. I think we’ll see more productions coming out in the future that will intrigue people to learn more about it.

The article is geared towards those who are in the healthcare field, with the aim to trying to introduce the idea that unsound money may be a factor contributing to health outcomes.
You raise a good point. I think much of mass culture these days has left many without a spiritual compass. However, for some finding better money (I.e Bitcoin) does lead to some sort of spiritual transformation. Perhaps if more people adopt bitcoin there could be an uptick of people finding their spiritual side. But agree that a bigger moral/spiritual void is pervasive in many societies today.

💭 What if our money is making us stressed and sick? My new article explores how sound money might be an overlooked health determinant—from chronic disease to mental health crises. #health #medschlr

Reading old health texts pre-1900s, some things are so wrong but some observations are so right….
“Fear….It takes from him reflection, power, resolution and judgment; and in short all that dignity and greatness of soul… It has great influence on occasioning, aggravating and producing disease.” - Gunn’s Domestic Medicine (1836)
If we cared to promote health in our environments we would reduce fear appeals in media and take a constructive approach to communicating problems in a way that engenders a sense of agency that we can overcome.
nostr provides a beautiful protocol that allows us to overcome the tendency to stoke fear and exchange ideas in thoughtful discourse. Is it perfect no but it presents a meaningful alternative.
Thankful for all of the developers and content creators who are moving this bright future ahead. Freedom tech helps us move beyond fear.
