Because we’ve been trained by the republicans to prepare for a distraction when the current news is bad.
All of the republican news is really bad right now. They’ve flip-flopped on wars with various countries and the Epstein files a few times already. Even thrown out some UFO stuff. Nothing is working though because gas prices are high and there’s no easy and clean way out of the quagmire the GOP is currently in.

5 minute crafts is a bot farm scam larger than every other channel on YouTube and they’ve gone to great lengths to hide it.

The surprising order means any new Wi-Fi router models sold in the country must be US-made, or receive an exemption from the Pentagon or Homeland Security Department.

I pay everything on my credit card and pay my balance in full each month.
I currently have a Chase card that I’ve only used to give me cash back on my purchases. It’s travel focused so I also get some perks related to traveling.
Anyone extra-satisfied with their rewards program card?
Edit: here are my rewards:
- 1x all purchases.
- 2x travel purchases.
- 3x dining, online grocery, streaming services.
- 5x chase travel purchases, Lyft, peloton.
- $50 annual hotel credit.
- One moth per year, 10% boost on the above.
- Free DashPass membership
- No foreign transaction fees
- Visa concierge service.

The recent protesting in Los Angeles. It was actually small, organized, and nonviolent.
It was a little bigger than the protests that happen nearly every year but the conservative media portrayed it as the entire city being in full riot mode.

You can’t buy a company with the intent to stifle competition.
They tried to compete with insta and failed, and he was concerned with insta’s potential to create features that compete with fb.
He then said the plan was to invest as little as possible in insta and only add features if competition sprouted up.

> To better understand the potential impact, LendingTree analyzed U.S. Census Bureau data to see which states have the highest percentage of imports from these three countries. Given the potential for these countries to implement blanket tariffs on their goods in response, we also looked into which states send the highest percentage of exports to these countries. We found massive differences across states, with some enormously dependent on these countries and others only slightly so.

I'm about to take on a large CD collection and archive it to my NAS. Are there any go-to apps to accomplish this (Windows)? Ideally, they will be FLAC or 192kbps MP3 or higher.
