Okay, it's not #MondayCovers yet, but sometimes I stumble on a cover that can't wait.
I am a sucker for well done cover songs, and this one is amazing. The Dandy Warhols manage to take this AC/DC song and *make it theirs*.
This sounds like it's just a lost track from their Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia album.

I feel like this should read “Play Wonderwall!”

I listened to this podcast (https://youtu.be/EErAC4HBgyg) so you don't have to.
Here's the short version:
RFK Jr. is a staunch believer in the theories of Antoine Bechamp.
Who is Antoine Bechamp? Basically Louis Pasteur's nemesis.
Pasteur's “Germ Theory" is the foundation of modern medicine.
Bechamp's "terrain of the body" theory posits that the reason one gets sick is that the body was already in a bad state, which allowed the illness to take hold.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is being run by a guy who doesn't believe in Germ Theory. 🤦‍♂️

It's worth mentioning that other than a few "special" types of posts (stories and collections) you could just follow Pixelfed accounts from your current fediverse account. Pixelfed is just a filter for posts that contain images.

oh! straight from the source himself! 😅
If things are reversed, and I follow pixelfed accounts from Mastodon, do those types of posts show up? or are they kinda "pixelfed exclusives" ?

Dear #Fediverse, is there something #Pixelfed does which #Mastodon does not?
It seems like it's just a different UI + filtering out all #ActivityPub posts that don't contain images?
Do I have that right? Is there some additional functionality/feature that I'm missing?

More #TimWalz facts: he wrote his masters thesis on how to teach children about the Holocaust and genocide in ways that allow them to apply the lessons of history to developing situations in our world today.
He's spent 20+ years as an outspoken critic of Chinas human rights abuses, to the degree that he picked his wedding date to be the 5 year anniversary of the Tiananmen square massacre so he would never forget and has been a fervent supporter of democracy in Hong Kong.

#introduction (continued)
My username is based on a deleted scene from #LordOfTheRings #ReturnOfTheKing which involved #Aragorn and his companions passing through the #CityOfTheDead. At some point the #movie producers thought it would be "cool" to have a massive computer generated avalanche of skulls.
It was not in the books.
It was purely made up for the spectacle of it.
It cost millions of dollars to produce.
It wasn't even used in the movie.
Something about that entire situation resonates with me. 😆
