Ok. I'm completely lost. The initial post is saying that AI people have sexual predator vibes.
You came in and declared that they're not sexual predators and you'd rather OP be comparing them to a different group?
Then KevlarCherry points out the huge overlap and you make some wild leap that if they weren't sexual predators that we'd all think it was ok then?
Like, what are you talking about? What commercials? Are you saying that OP should be making comparisons to just abusers in general instead of sexual predators? Given the current social environment right now, I could see why they'd have reached for that as an example.

The fact that you section off the "sex shaming" and act like all of the others are fine ways to describe them makes me raise an eyebrow. Why is that where you've chosen to draw the line?
Also, "wanting sex", is a disturbingly sterilized way of boiling down the vibe that we're describing. What's up with that? Why is sex, specifically, your problem here?

I'm sorry. I don't understand what you're trying to say. When did anyone say that it'd be ok?
AI fuckers and sexual predators present with the same pattern. There's a significant overlap in behavior. And it's becoming increasingly obvious the reasons for that.

People complaining about Bluesky and social media and how it's controlled by assholes, and how they want a different solution, and then you bring up Mastodon and they're like "not like that".

I make music, so it's interesting to me to hear other artists talk about making their songs.
Gives me ideas sometimes, helps me look at my own stuff in different ways. I had no idea he did anything else. I'm just there for the music talk.

Hey. SEGA AGES Phantasy Star is on sale for $3.14 CAD on Switch and if you ever had an interest in the game you should grab it. It's got an automapper for dungeons and some general QoL that make it the definitive version.
I just really fucking wish it was available on more platforms. This version is Switch only... but it's soooo good!

Hey! Control's a pretty good game and it's free on Epic right now. It's kind of like an SCP themed 3D Metroidvania.

Oh shit! I only saw this today.
Well fuck! Sega is taking / took down their classic game collection. If this shows up under a subscription service I'm gonna lose my shit.

When you're shopping on LEGO.com there's an option to use a gift finder to help you pick out a set for someone. One of the first questions is to ask how old the person is. As you raise the age, the face of the lego character changes to reflect the person. Once you hit 121, their face changes to a mummy and I'm (much like that person) fucking dead.

I guess I could plug some of my own crap on here. I've avoided advertising my channel on here because I didn't want to spam people, but I guess an occasional plug couldn't hurt.
If you like older video games and that more casual Let's Play format from like a decade ago... I've been doing that for over a decade.

I've started so many RPGs that I really need to finish. Maybe this week I'll focus on Phantasy Star 2... God... Those dungeons make it so fucking hard for me to want to go back to it.

#StardewValleyJournal
Day 1 (Yesterday): Santa was dying on a trampoline or something and gave me the deed to a farm. I hadn't settled on the idea of doing an ongoing journal yet, so this is the only picture I have of the day.
I cleared out some land. Made a chest for excess materials. Planted 15 parsnips, and ran around town trying to meet everyone to fulfill some social quest that would crush me with anxiety if this were real life. I ended the day by checking the weather (Sunny day tomorrow) and went to bed.

I like #gaming social media challenges, so I'm going to cross one over I did a while back.
Being suppressed for the longest time, being able to escape into a game was the only way I could really see and express myself. So, I sought out games with female characters.
So, this is my personal female #VideoGame character celebration challenge.
List a game for every letter of the alphabet. #AtoZ
The game must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a playable female character
- Must be a game I have personally played
Each day will bring with it a different game for each letter. Can I get the whole alphabet filled?
(EDIT: Thread is complete. If I'm boosting it. It's probably because I felt it was relevant at the time)
