There’s a little LAN section at RuneFest https://i.nostr.build/Wv35ctZ944EM9SkP.jpg

Yeah, still good to have as an option though. Honestly, it’s just so travel will be easier with the fam since I’m the only one without dual citizenship.

2025-02-13 11:11:30 UTC

Just submitted my application for Hungarian citizenship. Estimated completion is 4-6 months 🤞

Finished “Fiat Food: Why Inflation Destroyed Our Health and How Bitcoin Fixes It”. Some of the proposed solutions were a stretch, but overall good history around food. Might go full carnivore for a month. 🥩

Just spent 5 weeks in the States 🇺🇸 A few weeks in Utah ❄️ and a couple in Hawaii 🏝️.
Now I’m back in Europe… happy to go home. But will miss a lot of freedoms. 😭

Human memory is unreliable. Just like one writes down their seed phrase, I also wrote down wallet descriptors, signing devices used, preferred software, etc that are easily accessible and interpretable to my family.
Someone could come across this documentation but they won’t have the key information to access funds.
Also, it’s all stored separately.
In the end, I have peace of mind should anything happen to me unexpectedly. My family will still have access to our funds.

2024-12-10 12:41:39 UTC

Did some consolidation to practice on chain transactions with my wife. Keep your immediate family exposed to your bitcoin processes!
Also, document everything…

+1 that would be nice.

It’s not only for privacy, but for transaction validation. The cost is justified, no need to get paid. Buying and holding bitcoin covers that cost anyway.

Last major tennis expense for a while. Shoes, racquets, and bag ✅✅✅
https://i.nostr.build/XJA4IsTAijAE1lnx.jpg

2024-11-19 22:24:24 UTC

My new racquets finally came in. Just waiting on the new bag.
It sucks that court availability is abysmal in the winter. Might have a chance to hit with it tomorrow if not Friday.

I really loved my Prince O3 Tour back in the day, but Prince as a company has had too many issues for me to feel comfortable sticking with them long term.
My brother let me try out the Blades and it felt great. 💪

If you decide going the self-custody route I would recommend a Start9 setup. It's got potential to be more than just a lightning node with other apps that are available.

2024-11-15 17:10:17 UTC

Just ordered a couple Wilson Blade 98 v9s which I cannot wait to use.
My mind is boggled by how expensive current racquets are nowadays.
Any #tennis players on nostr?

Just finished reading "The Genesis Book" and it was so enjoyable.
Seeing how many minds, ideals and tools it took to help Satoshi create Bitcoin just amazes me.

What is the biggest expense in homeschooling? I would've thought you saved money by default (commuting, lunches, etc.), plus the added value your kids get education-wise.

For anyone suffering from seasonal allergies 🌾, here's a personal anecdote.
Ever since I started taking beef 🐮 liver supplements I've had 0 allergy symptoms.
Today was an extreme pollen count for ragweed which would typically **kill** me; watery/itchy eyes, sneezing, runny nose..."the works" 🤧.
I felt great 😎 today, in what would have otherwise been instant regret for not taking allergy "medicine".
Maybe something worth trying. 🤷 The honey thing never worked for me.

Anyone else grateful to have their own #lightning node?
- I can buy #bitcoin with low fees
- It settles instantly
- I have peace of mind
All it took was...
- Time spent learning
- A lot of bitcoin to create channels
- Hardware and a stable internet connection
Not everyone is in the position to do this, but if you are, don't miss out on the benefits.

### Thoughts from reading "Christ versus Caesar"
First of all I highly recommend the book, Connor Boyack is a great writer with an ability to explain and give clear context.
#Christ is the representation of #hope, he is the way to #freedom.
Living by Christ's gospel principles, there is no need for government, taxes nor coerced welfare giving.
It all starts with the family, and that is exactly what nations all around the world are trying to tear down.
Teach your children Christ's gospel, and they will be free.
Teach them to be good people, not good citizens.
🧡💜

Has anyone had experience exchanging "mixed" UTXOs? If so, what exchange and was it a problem? 🧐
I'm assuming the correct answer is to sell p2p. 🤙
I only ask to be prepared for an emergency situation and fiat is necessary.
